National Winter Solstice Festival

by Admin

Date: 20th December 2012 (Thu) from 7 pm – midday Fri 21st Dec
Location: National Show Centre, beside Dublin airport. See map.

Welcome to Ireland’s first National Winter Solstice Festival – an indoor music event that celebrates the global phenomenon of 2012.

This particular date has been pinpointed by the Mayans, the Egyptians, Hopi Indians and many more making it the most exciting astronomical night for 26,000 years.

We will be partying from sun-down to sun-up just like the way our Celtic ancestors used to, with a live-feed from Newgrange at sunrise!

The festival is a non-stop feast of International bands and well-known Irish music performances mixed in with a touch of spiritual awareness.

See the line-up video and details – click here.

Dance your socks off to deep funky world music beats, have an inspiring experience with our wise spiritual speakers, chill-out in the ambient area munching on amazing vegetarian food or just be in the elements by the outdoor solstice fire.

This will be Ireland’s biggest indoor conscious festival synchronizing with 2012 celebrations worldwide……and a special night to be part of. It will run through the night from 7pm on the 20th to midday on the 21st Dec 2012 at the National Show Centre, beside Dublin Airport.

To facilitate the festival being all about humans coming together to celebrate in a meaningful way, this is an alcohol-free event.
