1-day-course at The Organic Centre, Rossinver, Co. Leitrim
Sunday 27th April, 10am -4pm
Size doesn’t matter when it comes to gardening. If you want to grow your own vegetables, herbs or flowers but feel space is limiting your aspirations then look no further than this one day course. Tutor and community gardener Ingrid Foley will show you how to utilise even the smallest space through the use of all surfaces from plane to vertical, containers of all shapes and sizes.
Participants will be shown how to make the most of a raised bed and get introduced to square foot gardening and key-hole gardening. Cultivation techniques and fertility management will be clearly explained. Take home your own sowings to plant out in a few weeks using the information you have gained from the course or choose transplants from the Eco Shop to plant up straight way!
