Discovering & Living Your True Nature – The End of Seeking, Thursday 5 February January, 8pm, Phoenix Room, The Lantern Centre, €15/€10
Every single human being wants to be happy. Almost everything we do is driven by that basic desire. The seeking of happiness takes many forms. Whether it’s through relationship, work, substances, spirituality or other activities the common theme is looking for it on the outside.
True happiness can only be found within, and is not dependent on outside circumstances. When it is discovered our lives become easier in many ways. Intuitively we know this, but what gets in the way of our realising it in everyday life is our thinking. The true nature of human experience, how we actually experience and create our reality, is very simple and opposite to what we have been conditioned to believe. Our happiness and well-being is only ever a thought away.
What creates our lives, our experience in any moment, is so simple and intuitive. Yet most of us have innocently and accidentally being conditioned away from seeing it. We realised it without intellectually knowing it when we were babies and young toddlers, but gradually and invisibly we have lost sight of it… our realisation has become buried under years of looking the other way. It is still there, often shining through when we get out of our own way. But even when it does appear, we usually misunderstand it and assume it was caused by something else.
This evening will be an introduction to The Three Principles, which is a new understanding of the human mind and experience, which has been quietly spreading around the globe transforming the lives of people from all backgrounds. No techniques, no effort and no requirement to delve into stories of your past or struggles just a simple conversation that will help you to your own insights into the well spring of happiness that lies within every human being.
