Therasage RX8000 Infrared Automatic Shiatsu Massage Bed
When award show nominees are announced, Madison & Mulholland chooses, along with a team of ten, their top nominees (win or lose), to receive their luxurious goodie bags. The Therasage RX8000, although it might sound a little like the name of a space ship, is actually an infrared automatic Shiatsu massage bed, and judging by the list of stars to put it on their list, a pretty damn good one. It ranked among a stay at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel New York valued at $14,000, a weekend trip to Elk Mountain resort valuing at $7,500, an Avianne & Co. diamond watch. In comparison, the bed, currently reduced to €2,999 with some stockists, suddenly doesn’t seem like quite as huge a price as the €3,500 it normally retails at.
Why is this bed so special? It’s designed to target your body’s pressure points with a precise and relaxing massage to provide you with the combined therapeutic benefits of massage, chiropractic, acupressure and Far-Infrared Heat. The far infrared heat emitted penetrates up to 3″ into your muscles creating uniform warmth that can be felt for up to one hour after use.
