Thankfully, centres for holistic healing are becoming increasingly widespread here in Ireland, but if it wasn’t for the few visionaries who originally created these safe spaces where people could come to relax and recover, the people setting them up today may have had a tougher time of it.

Here, we speak to some of the established and some of the blossoming, and let them share their stories with you.

Chrysalis Holistic Centre

COUNTY WICKLOW

Set in the heart of rural West Wicklow, the Chrysalis Centre this year celebrates 21 years in existence. Founded by Ann Maria Dunne it has served seekers of all traditions, backgrounds and interests down through the years. In providing a meeting place for like-minded people, Chrysalis has offered sanctuary and renewal and encouraged wellness of mind, body and spirit. It has extended an invitation to its guests to take quality time out for reflection and to refocus on what’s important in their lives through their participation in its diverse programme of workshops and retreats.

If asked why we do what we do, it’s for the pure joy of witnessing transformation at work. We do our best to offer you the riches of potential. The jewels of inner freedom, spiritual exploration, connection with others, stillness and fun! Sure, we could sing our praises about the quality of workshops (high), the food (seconds please) and the gardens (heaven!) but there’s a spirit at and around Chrysalis which we have no words for; a simple one which sends out a beam that shines a clear light of positive intention into a sometimes confusing world.

People come here for lots of reasons whether its to learn a skill like vegetarian cooking or dowsing, space clearing, dream analysis or creative writing. Perhaps its simply to experience the benefits and wellbeing of relaxation, and appreciate the simple things in life. Others come to explore practises like non-violent communication, dance, movement and breathwork. We like to think that in a spirit of co-operation and service, we can help make a difference in people’s lives and make our contribution to the ever-evolving growth of consciousness on the planet at this time.

COUNTY CLARE

As Hippocrates once said, “Natural forces within us are the true healers of disease.” Armed with this belief and courage in her convictions, Eileen Clair founded the Holistic Therapy Centre in 1993 and has been a leading figure in Irish holistic therapy ever since.

Eileen has been working with alternative therapies for over twenty years. She is qualified in holistic dietetics, aromatherapy, reflexology, bio-resonance medicine and complex homeopathy. In addition, she is a member of the Irish Health Culture Association and a founder member and director of the Institute of Complex Homeopathy of Ireland. Always innovative, and with years of experience of working with the Philosophies of Louise Hay, Eileen trained as a Heal Your Life® Workshop Leader. She was the first to bring Heal Your Life® teacher training to Ireland. She continues to organise and assist teacher training in this country as well as conducting her own workshops and offering Heal Your Life® coaching at the centre.

Located outside Kilrush on the Kilkee Road, The Holistic Therapy Centre is a haven for body, mind and soul. It welcomes you with a wide range of treatments and therapies to support you and the health of your whole being. Therapies include assessment and learning support for children with Learning Difficulties. Eileen sees this as a growing field as she believes that self-esteem for children is an essential part of their education. She hopes to hold the first Heal Your Life® Workshop for Teenagers at the centre in September and, based on the interest in this, expects to hold many more.

“We value all our customers very highly – our time and energy is yours. Many customers travel great distances and bring their families to us for treatment.” Most of their customers hear about them through word of mouth – a source of great pride to Eileen (and staff) and testament to the success of The Holistic Therapy Centre.

COUNTY GALWAY

As I say very often to colleagues, friends and clients, I am an Eternal Student at the University of Life, a study which began many years ago. Even as a child I was curious, questioning and challenging but somehow even then I was manifesting many of my experiences. I still have a school project, from when I was 13 years old, detailing how I was going to be a Garda and an Air Hostess, two careers which I subsequently enjoyed.

As a result of personal trauma, due to experiencing four miscarriages, I discovered deep energy healing in Reiki/Seichem, which helped me to release the grief and loss which was trapped in my body. The healing was immense and elevated my Spirit to greater needs and desires, which eventually led me to The Chopra Centre in America, where I became a yoga instructor in The Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga and a Primordial Sound Mediation instructor, aged 45 years.

I feel humbled and excited to learn this ancient wisdom, to incorporate it into my life and hopefully reach others with this ‘Forgotten knowledge’.

The Indigo centre was created in November 2009 and is growing all the time. It is a coming together of many therapists, teachers and facilitators, assisting and empowering man, woman and child on their respective journeys.

A huge void was filled in me when my son Finn was born four and a half years ago. It was a magnificent, Spiritual experience connecting with this miracle of life, which to this day I cherish and value. Finn is a huge part of my inspiration to live more consciously, leading to a fuller experience. I want Finn and all children to understand as they grow up that answers lie within, to look less outside the self and realize the pure potential of their own essence.

My hope for the future is to continue improving the facilities and services at Indigo, honouring the overall needs of the community.

New York Times best-selling author Gregg Braden is internationally renowned as a pioneer in bridging science and spirituality. For more than 22 years, Gregg has searched high mountain villages, remote monasteries and forgotten texts to uncover their timeless secrets. His work is now featured on the History Channel, the Discovery Channel, The Sci-Fi Channel and NBC.
A former geologist and senior aerospace computer systems designer, Braden has devoted the last two decades of his life to researching ancient wisdom traditions, studying the ice core records in Antarctica and working for Global Coherence. His work shows us that the key to our future lies in the wisdom of our past, and provides us with practical techniques and insights for getting there in time.
I got to do an exclusive phone interview with him, from his headquarters in Taos, New Mexico, before his visit to Ireland in April of this year. But before we get into the actual interview, I’d like to give those who are new to Gregg’s work some insight into what he’s already uncovered.
In his book, Awakening to Zero Point, Gregg shows us that man is conditioned to be suspicious of life events that do not fall within the box of his conditioning. Yet these life events, both good and evil, are catalysts moving him towards new experiences and dimensions within himself. They are the means by which he arrives at wholeness.
In Walking Between the Worlds, Gregg explains that while the planet is undergoing a shift to a higher frequency, because she is a living, moving energy system, all who reside within her energy fields will also experience this realignment.
Another book, The Isaiah Effect, offers unprecedented insight into the power of an ancient mystery – a lost mode of prayer – that modern science is just beginning to understand. A topic he later expands upon in the book Secrets of the Lost Mode of Prayer.
Then, in The God Code, he reveals that a message has been found deep within the DNA in each cell of our bodies, and through a remarkable discovery linking ancient alphabets to the elements of life, our genetic code now reads as a text message of healing and peace. In his DVD, The Science of Miracles, I learnt that the first line of DNA in everything on the planet is the same, and the message it reveals translates as “God eternal within the body.”
Gregg’s book, the Divine Matrix, shows how a series of groundbreaking experiments, between 1993 and 2000, reveal dramatic evidence of a web of energy that connects everything in our lives and our world. And then in The Spontaneous Healing of Belief, he shares the scientific evidence which reveals that heart-based belief affects everything from the healing of our bodies to the atoms of our world.
In his latest book, Fractal Time: The Secret of 2012 and a New World Age, he takes us one step further along this path of realisation, and that’s where our interview begins.
“I think it is important to begin with facts,” he says, “and it is a fact that we are living the end of a rare and mysterious cycle of time that began 5,125 years ago in the year 3114 B.C. and completes with a rare astronomical event that occurs on December 21, 2012 A.D.
This 5,125 year cycle has occurred in the past a number of times. Ancient and indigenous traditions, specifically Mesoamerican traditions, identify at least four of these cycles leading up to the cycle that we’re experiencing now.
Each time cycles were completed and new cycles began, they were accompanied by conditions of change that were catastrophic for the people living during that time. Changes in climate, in temperature, and in seasons impacted their ability to do simple life-sustaining things like growing food. So, they started to fight each other for the vestiges of these disappearing resources, and in their fighting, everyone lost – no one won – and the civilizations collapsed and disappeared.
We are a rare generation living at an equally rare period of time where we’re straddling the world that has been in one cycle with the world that is emerging because of the birth of the next cycle. We’re the generation that is living that transition.
I think it’s helpful to know, to be able to go into the past and see what we can realistically expect. But we also have to ask ourselves, are we making the same mistake today? Are we fighting one another in our fear of a changing world? And, if so, can we recognize it and change things before we go the way of those past civilizations?”
By marrying the modern discoveries of nature’s patterns (fractals) to the ancient view of a cyclic universe, Gregg demonstrates how everything from the war and peace between nations to our most joyous relationships and personal crises are the returning patterns of our past. As each pattern returns, it carries the same conditions of previous cycles – fractal patterns that can be known, measured and predicted. Each cycle also carries a window of opportunity – a choice point – that allows us to select a new outcome for the returning pattern.
“Ancient texts and traditions have always viewed our lives, our relationship to the earth and the cosmos in terms of cycles. They viewed time as a great wave of energy that pulses through the universe on a regular, cyclic, rhythmic basis. Each time it reappears, the pulse carries patterns of energy from the past which we experience time and time again.
What modern science now is beginning to understand is that the ancients were right and we do, in fact, live cycles within cycles within cycles. Fractal Time was an opportunity for me to marry the best science of the day with the wisdom of our past to give a greater depth and meaning to the changes we are seeing today.”
We are already living the most frightening of the visions that were anticipated by our ancestors for our time in history, and Gregg believes that we are dealing with them very well, and at the same time building a new world of cooperation and peace, revamping the economic system of the world and the way the power is distributed in our world.
“All of those things are already happening now. So, as the world changes around us, we are changed as individuals; and there is a growing body of evidence showing that people are emotionally and physiologically changing to accommodate the stress of a changing world that our ancestors never had to deal with.
We have learned to live in one kind of world in the 20th Century, and now, within just a short couple of years, many of the systems that we have grown accustomed to are falling away because they are no longer sustainable in the presence of this changing world; and at the same time we are building these new systems.
There has to be a single generation that lives in both worlds, and it takes a really strong individual: one that can find their centre and their focus within their own being, and can find a way to maintain their balance in the moving target of a changing world. There has to be one generation that has one foot living in the old systems, because they need to, but also has the other foot in the new systems that are being developed. And this is that generation. We are those people.”
It is a call, not to arms, but to heart and mind, working together to better understand ourselves and our relationship with the world we live in and the planet we live on; and Gregg is coming to Ireland, not to preach, but to show us what too few of our ancestors knew, so that we can be the generation who finally succeed in creating the critical mass of consciousness needed to tip the balance from a life lived in fear to one lived in love on a global scale.
By Patricia Crane

Recently dubbed “the Queen of the New Age”, Louise L Hay is also known as one of the founders of the self-help movement. Her first book was published in 1976, long before it was fashionable to discuss the connection between the mind and body. Louise now heads Hay House, a successful publishing company which includes many notable authors in the self-help movement. She has also founded two non-profit charitable organizations and has recently released “You Can Heal Your Life: The Movie”, a film on her life and work.

Patricia Crane, Heal Your Life® workshop leader, was privileged to conduct an exclusive personal interview with Louise for Positive Life.

Patricia: From knowing you all these years, I know the depth of your intention to share all the healing that you have learned about with people. We now have some fantastic Heal Your Life teachers in Ireland. It has just spread around the world in absolutely amazing ways. I also see your book and teachings as being absolutely timeless.

Louise: It is a timeless book. It’s been over 22 years and is still going strong.

Patricia: Absolutely. And let me ask you this, do you think that your work has changed at all? Has anything been added over those years?

Louise: Well, I think it’s simplified in a lot of ways. It comes down basically to fear and anger, which are very closely related, being the negative things that get in our way, and also love and forgiveness that open the doors again. As to what I’m actually doing these days… I don’t speak very much anymore at all, but I find people who are doing really good work and I support them and open the gateways so the world can know about them. I find that very satisfying. I don’t have to do it all myself anymore.

Patricia: That is wonderful, and certainly Hay House has expanded in amazing ways with your influence and guidance and has an incredible number of authors these days that are really doing fantastic things.

Louise: Yes. It just does my heart so much good to find someone like Bruce Lipton, who is so passionate about his work and he’s such an excellent teacher and speaker, and to broaden his audience. It’s the same thing with Abraham, with Jerry and Esther Hicks. It gives them a really huge audience. See, the people I discover, I never want to change their work. I don’t want to change a word about what they are doing. I just want to open that gateway so that more people know about them.

Patricia: Wonderful. I know that Hay House has been publishing a number of books about the shift for 2012. Where do you see consciousness going with that kind of a shift?

Louise: I don’t know actually. I don’t know. But, what I am very much against at the moment is a new movie that has just come out and it’s called 2012. They advertise it joyfully as the most dismal of catastrophic movies that has ever been made. I think a lot of people are going to take advantage of this date and sell fear, and that’s just such a stupid thing to do. Remember when 2000 came?

Patricia: Yes. And the computers were all going to crash and everything.

Louise: People were selling fear. All of these horrible things were going to happen, etc. We would never get past the year 2000. And nothing happened! There was a glitch and we had to take care of it. I think whatever is coming up will be a positive thing for humanity. But, between now and then we have some cleaning up to do. It’s very obvious. If you look at the government and the industries and business and everything, there’s too much greed going on in this world. It needs to be let go of. People need to trust that they will actually be safe without having to fight for themselves, because as you know, it’s all consciousness.

Patricia: Absolutely. Also, I think your point about so many things needing to be cleaned up is really accurate. I think something that a lot of people do struggle with in the spiritual realm, which I want to ask you about is: when does attracting abundance and affirming for abundance go over the line and become greed? I’ve had a lot of people ask me that question.

Louise: Well, are those people who have abundance or don’t have abundance?

Patricia: Mostly they don’t have abundance.

Louise: But they’re worried about someone else getting too much. See I think we concentrate too much on abundance. Yes, money is wonderful and it’s important to have. It does make life easier. But, what is the point of driving down the street in a brand new car if you’re having road rage and screaming at people? The inner things are so much more important than the outer things: peace of mind and feeling good as you walk down the street, and knowing when you wake up in the morning that it’s going to be a good day. You know, knowing that the people in your life are friendly. One of the affirmations I say a lot is, “I bless and prosper everyone in my world, and everyone in my world blesses and prospers me.”

Patricia: That’s beautiful.

Louise: Well, you know, what you give out is what you’re going to get back. And if people would just remember that one little thing, that “what you give out, you’re going to get back.” If you give out a lot of fear, you’re going to get back things to be frightened about. If you give our a lot of anger, you’ll find many things to be angry about. But you need to really make peace with yourself. Decide that this is a good day.

Patricia: Lovely. I think that really answers one of the questions I’ve gotten from Ireland in that it seems like even though we’re looking at (financial) recovery here (in the US), there’s still a tremendous amount of fear going out in the media in Ireland. So, you know, what you’ve just said about peace of mind and focusing on the positive is going to be so helpful for them.

Louise: I think that an affirmation which is very important for people to use right now is, “Life loves me and I am safe.”

Patricia: That’s beautiful.

Louise: It’s a good thing to hang onto. Then watch the nice things happen.

Patricia: As you mentioned there are so many wonderful people out there really sharing such fantastic positive ideas in their work, and that’s where people need to focus. Are there any other authors or light workers from Hay House or elsewhere that you want to recommend?

Louise: Well, I think it’s very interesting that psychics used to predict dire things. But, the psychics that are coming around today are much more positive. They give positive messages to people. We have John Holland, who is an excellent psychic, and he gives a wonderful message to people. Dorene Virtue talks about the angels and fairies and she gives beautiful, soothing messages to people. I’m pleased that there are so many people doing that sort of work.

Patricia: What fun things are you doing for yourself these days?

Louise: I’m gardening. Well, you know, I live in a high-rise and I haven’t had a garden for some time. Two years ago I bought a little weekend place up in Carlsbad and it’s right on a lagoon. The first thing I did there was put in a vegetable garden so I can have my food again. I love that.

Patricia: Oh, wonderful. I’m sure you enjoy it a lot.

Louise: I put in a pond and there are fishes. It’s very soothing for me. It is 35 minutes away and it’s like another world.

Patricia: That’s wonderful. That’s exciting. Well let me just ask you one final question. As you know, we do have a number of Heal Your Life® teachers in Ireland who are sharing your work and new ones that will be trained very soon. Is there anything that you would like to say to them?

Louise: I would like to thank them for putting their foot on this pathway and deciding to do this work. It will not only be healing for everybody that they come in contact with, but it will be very rewarding for them. I just congratulate them for having made this decision.

Patricia: Wonderful. Thank you so much Louise. I do so appreciate your time. I and all of those who have benefited from your work thank you and wish you many more years of sharing your wisdom.

After watching The Living Matrix movie, we were inspired to write an editorial about the future of medicine, and were lucky enough to get EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEWS with two of the film’s inspiring stars: Bruce Lipton and Lynne McTaggart.

The movie puts forward the theory (backed up by scientific evidence) that the body’s energy field is a major influence in the development of our genes, the growth of our cells and the general working of our immune and other bodily systems. It shows numerous case studies and interviews with people who have been successfully cured of conditions such as cerebral palsy, an inoperable brain tumour, kidney abnormalities and chronic fatigue syndrome, without the need for damaging operations.

“My belief about the future of medicine is that it will be reduced to what it does miracles with: trauma.” Bruce tells us at the beginning of our interview. “It will not disappear because it shouldn’t disappear. But if you try to ask it about cancer, alzheimer’s, arthritis, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, obesity and things like this, the answers are not forthcoming because those are not trauma things, those are operational control issues, which are mind-over-matter issues.”

According to Bruce, The most important breakthrough in medicine in recent years is the awareness of a new field called Epigenetics.

The current cultural belief is that our traits and characteristics are predetermined by our genetic history, and that you can‘t change the genes that you were born with. This instils in us a belief that we are victims of forces outside of our control and are powerless in controlling our health; which then leads us to look for a rescuer outside of our self.

However, Bruce knows that genes are controlled by your perception, and through your perception you can modify the readout of your genes to create 30,000 variations of every gene that you have. Therefore, the concept of victim is lost in the new world of Epigenetics, for the simple reason that the individual has the ability to change their perception. You‘re a master if you realise that it’s your perception in response to the world that’s adjusting your genetics.

The mind is the functioning of the brain that interprets the environment and adjusts the biology. So rather than being controlled by our genes, our biology is controlled by our mind. And when you understand this, then you realise the power of being able to change your mind; because when you do that, you change your biology and your genetics.

Through epigenetics, emotion, perception, attitude and belief, the patient is directing the health of their body. They are not the victims of their cells undoing them. It’s the other way around.

We go from victim to master with a change in our belief system.

It has been clearly documented that one third of all healings, be they surgery or drugs or whatever technology, are strictly due to the thought and belief system. This is called the Placebo Effect. “The Placebo Effect talks about a positive thought being something that can heal you. More importantly is the Nocebo Effect,” Bruce explains. “What the world in general is unaware of is that a negative thought can take you equally powerfully in the other direction.”

When a person is under stress they shut off their growth, they shut off their immune system and they shut down their conscious processing in deference to doing reactive behaviour, which means you become less intelligent. So, as the stresses in this world are mounting, what we are finding is people‘s health is adversely affected, the growth of the system is stymied, and there‘s less intelligence in dealing with the issues because the fear is pushing us into reactive behaviour.

Bruce believes that messing with chemicals causes more problems than changing your belief system. “The side effects are quite different in that there are no side effects with changing your belief system. It doesn’t work by changing the chemistry. That’s why the statistics reveal that, in the United States, medicine is now becoming the leading cause of death, through iatrogenic illness. This is what doctors themselves admitted in the Journal of the American Medical Association. 300,000 people die every year as a result of taking prescription drugs. That‘s more than heart disease, cancer and stroke.”

Your thoughts are involved in the creation of your reality, and your heart is a vibrational amplifier that helps to manifest that creation, and when you put the two together in harmony, the message is broadcast out to a large audience.

Bruce’s first book, The Biology of Belief, was on the nature of how personal beliefs affect your life on a personal level. His new book, Spontaneous Evolution, looks at the concept of cultural beliefs and the way the world is organising; how our collective beliefs manifest our reality and, by changing those beliefs, how we can change the existing reality.

“Building a new reality means undoing the foundation of the existing reality so that you can restructure it for something different. The upheaval is a necessary step in an evolutionary process. So, rather than focusing on the upheaval level, it‘s much more effective to focus on the resolution. There are exciting opportunities that lie in front of us when people let go of their fear of change.”

He puts it to us that a human body represents a massive community with 8,000 times more members than there are people on the planet. Every cell is the functional equivalent of a miniature human living in a society. 50 trillion citizens that can learn to live in harmony, and when the body is blissed out, that means 50 trillion citizens are blissed out at the same time.

Every cell has a job. Every cell gets paid. There’s a unit of exchange in the body, the equivalent of money, called ATP. There’s an economy. There’s a politics. There’s a protection mechanism. There’s a health force to take care of things.

Basically, inside the body, there’s a civilisation far greater than ours in number, using technology that humans haven’t even evolved yet, living in a confined environment, and living in an opportunity of balance and harmony where every citizen could be totally blissed out.

“There’s an ancient mystical saying that says, ‘The answers lie within.’ If you understand the technology, politics, economy and social organisation of how 50 trillion cells can live in harmony under your skin, and apply them to human civilisation, a few billion citizens can certainly live in harmony on this planet.”

When Lynne McTaggart took a break from writing her new book, the contents of which is still a fascinating secret, she agreed that, “One of the fundamental things that has to change in the future of medicine is this focus on the Gene as being the solution to every illness. If you look at what Epigeneticists are coming up with, you‘ll have an understanding that the gene is really subordinate to this outside information-system known as The Field, and that we have to look at information rather than the gene as the thing that we have to crack.”

Often times, illness is a metaphoric representation of something going on mentally or emotionally with us. Ritger Palmer used to say, “I won‘t treat the tumour, I‘ll treat the trauma.” and when he did that, the tumour would go away. We have to ask our body, “What are you trying to tell me?”

A lot of people feel they have to protect themselves from toxic energy or a toxic environment, and they talk about psychic bubbles and that sort of thing, and that doesn’t resonate with Lynne very much because she feels if we’re supposed to all be connected, the last thing we’d want to do is be protected from each other.

“Often times, what you’re picking up, you’re sending out. One thing we know is that we’re all sending and receiving a constant conversation of quantum light. There’s a lot of synchronicitous information going back and forth.” We’re sending and receiving whether we know it or not, and so the likelihood is that that negative situation is partly of your own making because you’re sending out information to help make it so. So, the first thing Lynne would recommend is to start sending out positive information and energy.

Using kinesiology muscle testing, Dr. John Diamond found that any kind of toxic thought makes somebody’s arm deltoid muscle weak, but the only thing that would keep it strong was going inside yourself and holding onto your homing thought. By “homing thought” he meant that activity and state of mind that puts you in touch with the divine. For many people that’s singing or painting or it’s their work; for other people it’s just making a chocolate cake, or being a mother or a father. It doesn’t have to be your vocation, it can just be the thing that really makes you most transcendent. In a sense, it was what you were put on this earth to do. Lynne thinks of that as the strongest antidote to negativity, because it is demonstrated to be the one thing that keeps you strong no matter what is thrown at you.

When you recognise when something isn’t working, it’s your reaction to it that causes the problem or not. You have to acknowledge the issue, but it’s all in how you focus your mind. Acknowledge the problem and have the confidence that there’s a solution.

Lynne did a special report on Swine Flu, and demonstrated that the hype is complete and utter nonsense. “More people die from ordinary flu than have ever died from swine flu. Part of healing that is just getting past the awfulising and really looking at the facts. There are several practical things that can be done regarding the negativity of the News. One is: don’t watch that kind of news.”

We are completely different from what we have been told. We have to stop thinking of ourselves as this collection of isolated things jostling around in space. We have to start thinking about ourselves in terms of a ‘pro tem’ system, something that is constant changing energy, that’s connected and engaged; that we exist only in a relationship with the world. We have to think of ourselves as connected, and that would change everything in the way we think about healing and the way we think about being.

“In 50 years time, the idea of using drugs or surgery is probably going to be considered barbaric. We’re moving much more towards an understanding of ourselves as being an energetic system. When you get right down to it, we’re just charge having a relationship with the zero-point field. If you think of our cells as just pure vibrating packets of nothingness, or energy, then you have to deal with things in a very different way than just carving up pieces of flesh or giving drugs to try to change a chemical reaction. We’re now understanding that we’re much more subtle than that and we don’t operate in a linear fashion. If you try to affect one part of us, you affect all parts of us. And so we have to approach things very differently than the idea of just fix the broken machine.”

Our current methodology clearly demonstrates that it doesn’t work. It’s time to really question the paradigm we’ve been using on which modern medicine is based. Now we realise that we’ve been using the wrong paradigm, that we’re something very different from what medicine thinks we are, and so we have to deal with ourselves as an energetic system out of balance, and that‘s really what we should be looking at and trying to heal.

We’re now understanding, from frontier scientists, that we’re all fundamentally connected via this vast quantum energy field, called the Zero-Point Field, which unites us all like an invisible web. The Field is created from a sub-atomic dance between individual particles constantly trading energy back and forth like an endless game of tennis.

The sub-atomic particles, which are basically just vibrating packages of energy, encode information. Once one wave bumps into another wave, it encodes that information. In a sense, the zero-point field, which is a collection of all the waves of all the information in the world is like this memory bank of everything that’s ever been in the world, and if we are somehow connected to this, and all connected together, then we have the ability to access all the information in the world at any point.

“There’s a real strong transformative power in group intention and communal intention,” Lynne reminds us. “In the face of adversity, get together with your friends and do some intentions together.” This can also be done at work, if you have people who are like-minded, and can also be done remotely.

Dr Robert Verkerk, founder of the Alliance for Natural Health, says, “It is inconceivable that the medical profession and health authorities won’t, some time in the next 20 years, wake up to the need for an altogether new paradigm for healthcare. This new paradigm, logically, would be sustainable, based around disease prevention rather than disease management, and would need to be centred around nutritional and lifestyle approaches.

This understanding will in time lead to the development of healthcare approaches that are much more compatible with each of our bodies. And holistic healthcare, in which the mind-body-spirit connection is fully respected, currently the domain of traditional systems of medicine such as those of China and the Indian subcontinent, will ultimately win out.”

There is so much more to say on the subject, and we hope that this will inspire many conversations, but for now, we‘ll leave you with the words of Arielle Essex, a woman who cured herself of a Brain Tumour using NLP: “The most important thing for people to do is to take total responsibility for their health. Not to think that it comes from outside themselves, or that somebody else can give it to them. And by taking total responsibility, that may mean that they have to start with choosing the thoughts that they think, so that they are in a good state of mind; the state of mind that‘s most conducive to healing.”

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW with Patrick Holford

By Patrick Bridgeman

Brought to you by the Irish Association of Health Stores, the Rude Health Show is the only combined trade and public natural health show in these islands, where your questions will be answered face to face by experts.
Thousands of people from all over Ireland come to see and sample a huge range of exhibits from home and abroad. The non-stop programme of talks given by well-known speakers from the UK and Ireland over both days is a major draw, as are the food demos and tastings in the centre of the hall.
Last year, crowds of people had to be refused entry to the talk given by Patrick Holford, and to avoid such disappointment again, this time he has agreed to speak on both days.
Patrick Bridgeman met with him on April 30th during a break between Pat Kenny’s radio show and his own talk in the Tara Towers Hotel.

Positive Live: What do you think has been the biggest revelation in health and nutrition in recent years?

Patrick Holford: I think, certainly, where I’m at, the most important understanding is that there’s a cluster of very common diseases and health problems which all hinge around a change in our internal biology. I call it, “Internal Global Warming.” Sometimes it’s called Metabolic Syndrome, and with it you get losing your blood sugar control, higher cholesterol, more resistance to insulin and raised homocysteine levels. So there are all sorts of indicators of a kind of internal global warming shift. And this is linked incredibly strongly to weight gain, Diabetes, heart disease and Stroke, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, Cancer, Alzheimer’s, memory loss, depression, Polycystic Ovaries and also under-active thyroid. So, rather than thinking of all of these as separate conditions, I think it’s now become very clear that they have a common cause. The essence of which is that we have moved a very long way away from our evolutionary design. In other words, we do not eat what we are designed to eat.
At one level I could say that we need to eat exactly what we have always been designed to eat – that means whole, fresh, organic, unadulterated foods and fit meat and fish, but there is a difference. The pace of life has definitely sped up and, with that, we have to process more information and change. That’s a drain on our brains and that’s why I think we need more brain-friendly nutrients, which include B vitamins, essential fats and phospholipids found in eggs and fish.
So, a lot of people are saying that Obesity is driving a lot of these diseases, like Diabetes. But actually I think its this change in our biology, which is often shown by a loss of blood sugar control, that’s actually driving Obesity and Cancer and heart disease and so on. Last year, Obesity overtook smoking in America as the number one preventable cause of premature death. So, I think that’s really a big new understanding.

Positive Live: Which leads me on to another question: Where do you think we need to head with our research, our work, our behaviour, our understanding of health?

Patrick Holford: What we need is a more system-based way of thinking and doing science, and it’s only when you step back and look at the whole pattern that you realise what the problem is.
Last week in the New England Journal of Medicine, they’re recommending taxing Sugar, because what’s becoming very clear is that one of the major drivers of these problems is not fat, it’s actually sugar. So, in the same way that alcohol and tobacco are major contributors to disease, and are taxed and cost the Health Service a fortune, I think that ultimately Sugar is going to have to be taxed so that sugary foods become more expensive and less attractive. Because ultimately what you need is to have Healthy Food: less expensive/more attractive, Unhealthy Food: more expensive/less attractive. That’s the bottom line.
And there are a whole lot of fundamental principles relating to how we live. I mean, for example, if you go back to a time when everyone was a hunter/gatherer, that’s 200 generations ago, that’s all. It’s really not that much. And, of course, all food was organic; all food was whole, unrefined and so on. So its kind of crazy that now everyone is talking about fortifying white flour with the B vitamin, Folic Acid. And before that, it’s already fortified with B1, B2, B3… I mean, why not just not take it out in the first place?

Positive Live: Have you ever thought of writing a Children’s Book about Nutrition?

Patrick Holford: Well I have thought about it. I run a charity called Food For The Brain and we do work in schools, so sometimes I do assemblies for school kids. It’s very important early on to start to inform children about how that works. For example, often I say, “What are cars made of?” And they say, “Metal.” And I say, “What is your brain made of?” And they usually say, “Goo” or “Bogies” or something like that. And I say, “It’s actually made out of fat, and the best fats are from Oily Fish and Seeds.” And then I ask them, “What does your car run on?” And they say, “Petrol.” “So what does your brain run on?” And the answer is, “Sugar, but you have to have a steady slow-releasing sugar. So if you have ‘fast sugar’, you become very hyperactive. So you have a short burst of energy, then you crash.”
The most important thing is to give your child a variety or tastes, and prevent them developing a sweet tooth. Have fruit, nuts and seeds available for snacks, offer water when they are thirsty, and only diluted juice on occasion and coo over broccoli as much as you do over desserts. Seeds are so full of nutrients I recommend grinding them and adding to cereal such as porridge oats. Think of non-sweet treats when you want to reward your child. My book Smart Food for Smart Kids has lots of child-friendly recipes that they can help you make. It’s important to get them involved with food at an early age.
There are some fundamental principles that really should be taught in school, and implemented in school. But actually, very often, the obstacle in getting real change in schools is the parents, because most of us are addicted. And sugar is actually addictive. It fulfils all the criteria for an addictive substance. So it’s one thing to tell people not to eat this, but if you’re addicted to caffeine or you’re addicted to sugar or whatever it might be, it’s actually quite hard to break.

Positive Live: Do you have any suggestions for how to do that?

Patrick Holford: I wrote a book last year called, How To Quit Without Feeling S**t, which addresses this issue. And in fact, my current book The Low GL Diet, which is all about how to eat to stabilise your blood sugar, is critical, because if you come off ‘high sugar’, you get blood sugar dips.
There’s another way to look at this, which is: We’re designed to store sugar as fat. So if you were walking through the jungle and you came across a bunch of bananas, you only need a third of a banana to keep going, but you eat the whole lot. And those of us that are genetically able to store the excess sugar, as fat, would survive better, because they can store food for a rainy day. Many of us survivors are actually from the gene pool of people who are very good at storing excess sugar as fat. So these people really struggle with their weight. And what’s now happening is very interesting from an evolutionary point of view, because we’re learning that there’s no rainy day, so we just keep storing and storing and storing. But now what’s happening is that as people store more and more fat and develop this Metabolic Syndrome, it makes them age more quickly, die younger and also become infertile. So its almost like evolution will switch it the other way around. The first group we call ‘Survival of the Fattest’, and now we’ll probably move into a time where it’s ‘Survival of the Thinnest’. So it’s quite an interesting swing.
We need to practice moderation, especially for sweet and refined foods. That means eating a low GL (glycemic load) diet and learning how to combine foods so you feel full. If you follow a low GL diet your desire for sugar decreases. If you need to add a little, perhaps to a dessert, the one I like the most is xylitol – xylose is a natural sugar in berries, cherries and plums that tastes sweet and doesn’t affect your blood sugar so much.
I mean, the other thing, from an evolutionary point of view, that’s obvious but shocking for many people is Milk. And it’s not that there’s anything wrong with milk from an animal, it’s just…The purpose of milk is to make babies grow very fast. That’s its job. Milk has 38 different growth factors in it, and they do two things. One is: they stimulate cells to grow rapidly. And the other is: when a cell grows rapidly, it normally is programmed to commit suicide. It’s called Apoptosis. And what milk does is it switches off the ‘suicide signal’ and it switches on the ‘growth signal’. So if someone has a Breast Cancer cell or a Prostate Cancer cell and drinks a pint of milk a day, they are specifically telling those cells to grow. So, there’s nothing wrong with milk for infants and, possibly, young children, but once you’re forty-something, a high dairy intake may increase your risk. And if you do have any cancer or pre-cancerous cells, there is no question that drinking a lot of milk will speed up the progression of their growth.
I’ll tell you one other story, because I often hear people saying, “Well, can’t you get all the vitamins you need from a well balanced diet?” I was watching a program on Gorillas in London Zoo, and there was this Gorilla and he was picking up these orange tablets. I think there were 4 of them. And the interviewer asked the Zoo Keeper, “What’s that?” And the Zoo Keeper said, “Well, that’s the Gorilla’s Vitamin C.” It looked like it was 2,000mg. And that’s pretty much what a Gorilla will eat in a natural environment, from fruits, leaves, berries and shoots. So my combined food and supplement intake of Vitamin C is about 2,000mg, and that is pretty consistent with evolution. But most people have 100mg. We don’t live in a tropical jungle, we live in a concrete jungle and we just don’t get what we need.
Another example of that is Vitamin D. We’re actually designed to be naked, outdoors, and not living anywhere as cold as this. The south of France, maybe. Vitamin D is made in the skin in the presence of Sunlight, and we probably need about 30 micrograms. If you have half an hour outdoors everyday and you eat oily fish, which are high in Vitamin D, you might achieve 15 micrograms. So I supplement another 15, and that total of 30 micrograms is, again, much more consistent with what we’re designed to get.
The most important thing when choosing a supplement is the dose. For example a good multivitamin should give you at least 10mcg of vitamin D, ideally 15mcg, plus 20mg of B6 and other B vitamins. Ideally you want about 10mg of zinc, 100mg of magnesium plus some chromium and selenium. Vitamin C is less important because you can’t get enough in a multi. I take two vitamin C tablets a day. If combined with zinc or black elderberry this provides extra immune support. For essential fat supplements you want about ten times more omega 3 to omega 6. Ideally you want about 500mg of EPA+DPA+DHA a day.

Positive Live: What can people who come along to the Rude Health Show expect to hear you talking about?

Patrick Holford: I’m going to talk about The Perfect Diet for the 21st Century. And I’m going to talk about how to lose weight, gain energy, slow down the aging process and reverse disease. I once wrote an article a few years ago called, The Primates Guide to 21st Century Living. It had a picture of a Gorilla with a mobile phone.

Other top class speakers will include Jan de Vries, whose appearances on RTE’s Afternoon Show have made him a household name, along with Dr. Marilyn Glenville, Dr. Alex Richardson, Karen Ward, Jane Plant, Bernadette Bohan and many more. As well as plenty of great stands by companies such as Yorktest, Manuka Honey and more.

By Patrick Bridgeman

For those of you who don’t already know and love the work and personality of Dr. Masaru Emoto, let me tell you that his Water Crystal research is some of the most beautifully obvious evidence of the power of positive thinking, talking and feeling, and that he himself is a joyful embodiment of the very principles he promotes.
He recently gave a talk here in Ireland, on June 1st, exactly 10 years to the day from when his loving and supportive wife Kazuko first published his original book Messages From Water. 3 billion copies in 45 languages later, having given over 1000 seminars in 75 different countries, he was finally ready to meet the Irish. I got up early one morning to phone him and his translator Fukiko in Japan for an exclusive interview as he prepared for his current world tour, including his first ever trip to our green isles.
“I feel it’s a coincidence that we are interviewing today because today is the day we finished writing our new book entitled, A Person of Love and Gratitude.” I agree it is a wonderful coincidence, or maybe not a coincidence at all. As Dr. Emoto himself believes “synchronicities are signs from the 5th dimension,” which is a Utopia “somewhere over the rainbow” that we can catch glimpses of during meditation. The entrance to the 5th dimension can be found at the bottom of a rainbow, the likes of which that have been following Dr. Emoto across the world, appearing over his water ceremonies and seminars.
The basis of his work is simple; you take a few samples of water from different sources or having been subjected to different influences such as words, music or emotions; you then freeze these water samples and photograph the crystals that are formed, using a special microscope. The results speak for themselves; water that has been exposed to positive vibrations form beautiful symmetrical hexagonal crystal images, and water that has been exposed to harsh vibrations shows up as shattered or deformed blobs.
Considering our human bodies and the planet itself are made up of 70% water, it starts to become clear just what kind of impact the positive and negative influences in our lives are having upon us. At the seminar, images of water crystals formed from the words “Mother’s Cooking” were compared to those of “Instant Food.” Of course the former was considerably more beautiful. Likewise, an image entitled “Do it!” was compared to “Let’s Do It!” showing how teamwork has a much nicer energy than dictatorship.
“We need to understand water if we are going to understand ourselves.” He reminds us. “Personally, I can not live without music, because I’ve been listening to some kind of music ever since I was a foetus in my mother’s womb. My mother was the kind of person who always liked to sing, so I took that into my blood. The water in my body always needs some kind of music. Depending on my mood, I would listen to different kinds of music, for example: Violin music or Piano, or sometimes I feel like singing a special type of popular Japanese song called Enka. Whenever I drink Irish beer, I’m sure that I will feel like singing Japanese Enka.”
“I think if a person has a strong enough sensitivity or sensibility, they would immediately understand or feel what kind of music is needed for a person they see. Immediately they can find out what would be the best song for any particular person’s mood.” At the seminar, his slideshow suddenly stopped on a page with big bright letters followed by an exclamation mark, “Karaoke Time!” After the crowd finished laughing, Dr. Emoto led us all in a unique rendition of Danny Boy. The power of music had been made apparent to us earlier in the seminar by a moving image music video of the water crystals formed under the influence of Madam Butterfly. He then went on to demonstrate harmonious and destructive combinations of musical notes, relating the disharmony between certain people as a clash between their vibrational resonances. On the bright side, he said, “Everyone can change their tune if they need to, to make harmony among people.”
Changing our frequency can help in many areas of our life. “From the Hado point of view, everything has a vibration and each of us has our own specific vibration or Hado. In order to avoid getting infected by some infectious disease, for example, we have to raise the power of the immune system in our body, and this immunity can be the result of our feeling of Love and Gratitude. Love and Gratitude to Hado is the best immunity for us.”
As I consider the effect our feelings have on things outside of us, he agrees that the mood of an artist or writer, musician or chef when they are creating something for others will infuse their creation and affect their audience. “I have published a book called, Nutrition Food Study of Hado, which I co-wrote with a specialist on nutrition. We found out that when we make a hamburger with a joyful feeling, or a very vengeful angry feeling, the result is totally different. The one with the joyful feeling has a much greater power to boost the human immune system. We checked the result with a special vibration-detecting device called an MRA (Magnetic Resonance Analyser).” So it seems that love really is the secret ingredient. “Absolutely!”
It makes me think of big gatherings of people at music events and spiritual celebrations, and how the combined energy of the group would have a bigger effect on the individuals present. “When talking about a group energy, if a person decides to be in this group, then the energy will be multiplied so many fold, but if a person is reluctant to get into this group, then it will not have as much of an affect as the ones that join more actively.”
As part of his research, Dr. Emoto has been re-examining the theories of Einstein, in particular E = MC2 (Energy = Mass multiplied by The Speed of Light). “I’ve changed the words but not the meaning (Energy = Number of Humans multiplied by The Vibration of Consciousness).” Like an iceberg, most of our potential is hidden below the surface in the inactivated parts of our DNA. Scientists recently discovered a water pole in the centre of our DNA and Dr. Emoto feels that by developing a better relationship with the water in our body, we can tap into our full potential and activate our true selves.
Since all vibration is involved in this process and a big part of Dr. Emoto’s research involves placing words on water samples to see their effect, I ask if the name you give a child affects the person they grow up to be. “Yes. I think that each person’s name has some kind of significant meaning and connection to a person. I didn’t have this kind of idea a long time ago, but recently I feel the name is very important. For example, Einstein in German means “One Stone” (Ein is One and Stein is Stone). My mother’s name is Kazu Ishimaru (Ishi means Stone and Kazu is One). There’s some kind of similarity in those names.”
When I asked if he has ever put his own name on water sample, he replies, “We have done an experiment where instead of showing just “Masaru Emoto” we showed the words “Masaru Emoto Water” to a bottle of water with Japanese tap water and the result was amazing. Even though we used tap water, it formed such a beautiful crystal and usually tap water has no chance to create a beautiful crystal. I feel a little bit bashful about this.”
Dr. Emoto believes that “Water is a messenger from God” and its message is one of Love and Thanks. In fact, Love and Thanks seem to be the most powerful words to use and they created what Dr. Emoto considers “the most beautiful water crystal I’ve ever seen.” He uses specially influenced water to heal people of various physical, emotional and mental conditions and I wonder if we were to offer a worldwide prayer of Love and Thanks, does he feel that it could have a major effect, not just on the water of the world but on every part of the world? “Sure. I think so, because water is the source of everything in this universe, so I believe it will in turn affect everything in the world.”
I wonder if we send Love and Gratitude to the Ozone Layer, could we repair the hole and make it healthy again? He replies, “Yes, I think it is very possible. I totally believe in that because the energy of Love and Gratitude is the original energy of the universe, so it should be able to fix the hole in the Ozone Layer. Additionally, the ratio of Love and Gratitude is very important. I believe the ratio should be 1:2 (1 Love to 2 Gratitude). I believe this is the full meaning of H2O (Water).
His prayers of Love and Thanks have yielded amazing Before and After images of crystals from water that had been polluted and neglected, and touring the world offering blessings to the lakes, rivers and oceans of the world has become a regular part of Dr. Emoto’s work. He is currently the head of the I.H.M. General Research Institute and President Emeritus of the International Water for Life Foundation, a Not for Profit Organization. On May 26, 2005, he spoke as a keynote speaker at a conference held in the United Nations Headquarters, Conference Room 1, Organized by the Spiritual Dimensions of Science and Consciousness Subcommittee of the NGO Committee on Spirituality, Values and Global Concerns. There he introduced the idea for Emoto Peace Project, “giving the book Messages From Water – Children’s Version to the children around the world for free in the hope that they find the importance of water and the true nature of us human beings.”
“We are mostly water. And it is important to take a very close look at water and think of the question of what water actually is. We have to pay more attention to water and we have to focus on water much better and we have to study water. Where does this water on Earth come from? Does it always need to circulate in our Universe? When we think about these kinds of questions, we will encounter the more profound deep theme of our existence itself. For example: where do we come from? What is the purpose of our being here? Where are we going after we die? When we can find the better answers to these kinds of questions, we will have no fear of death, and when we have no fear of death, our value system will totally change and we can live our life to the fullest and we can be more like humans and we can fulfil our purpose most affectively in this life.”

by Paul O’Connor

In 1995, declassified CIA documents revealed the existence of a 23-year, Top-Secret, US Army psychic spying program, codenamed Project STARGATE. The program developed and applied a technique called Controlled Remote Viewing (CRV), a trained skill that enables a person to access information about objects, persons or events at any location in time or space. Lyn Buchanan, remote viewer and trainer in the original US Army unit, came to Dublin recently and provided us with this exclusive interview.

Paul: What is remote viewing or Controlled Remote Viewing?

Lyn B: Controlled Remote Viewing has to do with personality. It’s a science that was developed at Stanford Research Institute, but it’s based on, believe it or not, a martial art. It is a science in how to connect the conscious and subconscious minds. It was used for espionage purposes because, somehow, the subconscious mind seems to know what’s going on around the world.

The subconscious mind knows things that are beyond the normal six senses, and the seventh sense of ‘ambience’, but the subconscious somehow knows what’s going on in Africa, and Europe and Russia, and all that, right now, plus what will happen in the future and what has happened in the past. And once you can access the subconscious mind, you have access to all that information.

POC: So, what then is the difference between remote viewing and Controlled Remote Viewing?

LynB: Remote viewing is a New Age term for ‘psychic’, and so when you hear someone say they are a ‘remote viewer’, it means that they are a psychic. I’m not saying that’s bad. I’m simply saying that, once the science of Controlled Remote Viewing came out and became public, everyone started jumping on the bandwagon to associate themselves with the scientific credibility. And so, all of a sudden, you had ‘Crystal Ball Remote Viewers’ and Palm Remote Viewers and Aura Remote Viewers, and all of this, none of which follow the science which is called Controlled Remote Viewing.

POC: When or how was CRV developed? We hear a lot that the CIA was involved…

LynB: The CIA originally funded the research into this because they found out the Russians had psychic spies, and the psychic spies that Russia had were extremely good at getting our classified information. When the Hitler regime fell, the US rushed in and got all of the nuclear and rocket scientists. Well, Russia was grabbing for scientists all along, and they took the scientists from a project that Hitler had which was called ‘Doktor Grunbaum’. Hitler was very interested in Hebrew mysticism. He was after the Ark of the Covenant and the Chalice (Grail) and so forth. He was interested in that and started a project and had scientists developing things like mind control, psychic spying and such as that. The Russians grabbed those scientists and started developing psychic spying and also, what they called, ‘hypnosis-at-a-distance’, where you could sit down at your kitchen table and hypnotise someone half ways around the world without them even knowing it. And the Russians were heavily into that. When the CIA found out that they were getting our secrets, and influencing our people, then they said “If the Russians have, we have to have it too”. So, they started funding the research at Stanford Research Institute.

POC: Speaking of secrets, just how secret was this whole program?

LynB: The funding was classified as SECRET SAP, which means SECRET Special Access Project. But the Controlled Remote Viewing process itself was never classified. What was classified was the fact that the Government was funding the research, was actually using remote viewers and had a remote viewing unit, and was using them to spy on foreign governments and foreign military installations.

POC: How long were you involved in the program?

LynB: I was in the program eight and a half years. I got drawn into the program because of a (psychokinetic) incident that happened over in Germany, much of which is still classified. After about four years in the unit, I became the trainer of the unit and was a remote viewer, was the trainer of incoming personnel, as well as property book holder and so forth. It was a very small unit and each of us had ten or twenty different jobs.

POC: When the project was declassified in 1995 following the AIR Report, did you then go into offering CRV as a service?

LynB: No. I had actually been teaching the Controlled Remote Viewing after I got out of the service. Because the process was not classified, I was allowed to teach that process, but only to those high-level government officials who had enough clearance to know that such a thing existed.

POC: What’s involved in actually learning CRV (within the workshop process)?

LynB: We teach the basics of controlled remote viewing in a three day class. Now, the class doesn’t end with those three days of classroom time, because we continue the training over the internet. We give the person time enough to integrate all of the basics into their system, to learn to communicate with their subconscious mind, and to learn how to carry on dialogues with their subconscious and gain accuracy. Then, we teach an Intermediate level class which teaches them how to use what they have learned in real-world applications. We also teach an Advanced class which teaches the extremely useful tasks that the world may require of a viewer, such as demographics, economic projections, map dowsing and things like that.

We are also the only trainers who teach remote viewing teams for different corporations and agencies. So, we train Project Managers, Analysts, Monitors, Report Writers, and we train a Security course, because most companies and agencies don’t want anyone knowing that they have a remote viewing team or department within them. So, we teach all facets of the process so a company or an agency or a government can develop their own, complete, stand-alone, remote viewing unit.

POC: Are other governments using CRV, or are they using variations?

LynB: There are some that are using variations of CRV. The US, as far as I can find out now (because once you retire they quit telling you things!), is no longer using it in a governmental capacity. But, every government around the world that I know of has, these days, a psychic spying team. Even the government of San Marino has their one person sitting there.

POC: Who we won’t name!

LynB: Yeah, that’s right (laughs). And, of course, the Vatican has theirs too…

POC: You mentioned also that the Mafia and some of the Colombian drug groups have developed their own teams.

LynB: Oh, yeah. Absolutely!

POC: You mentioned that the training prepares people for real-world applications. Can you give some examples of how somebody could use Controlled Remote Viewing in business or life, and how they could apply it themselves?

LynB: The applications are varied and many. Of course, it was developed to train soldiers so they would have an intelligence advantage over the enemy and they had planned to send the soldiers back to their various units so they could tell their commanders what’s over the hill and where to point the guns and what’s coming tomorrow, etc. We used it strategically to know what, for example, Saddam Hussein was going to do and we passed up information up the chain of command as regards his activities for the next day so our intelligence group knew what he was going to do a day before he did it. The man never stood a chance.

Once it moved over into the civilian world, the first application was police work and, in fact, we were doing some police work before it became public. The business world realised that we could give projections on projects. Let’s say that they can only fund one of their five projects. We can tell them which one will be successful and which one’s wont, which ones will make a profit, and so on. We have used this to find missing children, missing persons and missing evidence for the police. We use this in archaeological situations quite a bit. We have students who have come for the very simple reason of wanting to use this for gambling, and for winning the lottery, and we’ve had success in that field as well. We have done space exploration, moon exploration, future developments. We have done a lot of unveiling of unfindable information about the past for writers and historians.

The thing is, that once you get in touch with your subconscious mind, it not only has the ability to know what’s going on out in the world, it also knows why you do the things you don’t want to do but you wind up doing them anyway, and why you don’t do the things you want to do and wind up not doing them. It knows what your phone number was when you were three years old. It knows everything about you. And, because it knows, and because you can carry out dialogue with it, you can use it for self-healing and self-improvement. The subconscious mind acts, not only as a gateway to the world, but also to your inner self.

These are just a few of the applications we have for Controlled Remote Viewing.

POC: So, you’re saying there’s an actual value, in terms of personal self-development, in learning Controlled Remote Viewing?

LynB: There are tremendous benefits for it. Now, I would never advertise this as a self-help course. If you want self-help courses, there are a lot easier ways than to go through three years of Controlled Remote Viewing training. But, the benefits to the person, if they learn to use it to simply remote view themselves, and their deeper selves, can be phenomenal.

POC: They way you talk about applications are you saying we can remote view the future and can operate outside of time?

LynB: Yeah! Now, I don’t know about ‘remote viewing’, the psychic part, but in CRV, the science, time is treated in exactly the same way as any other dimension. It’s as easy to say to a viewer “Move five years forward” as it is to say “Move five feet forward”. And it’s just as easy to say “Move ten feet back” as it is to say “Move ten years back”.

POC: So that would suggest that CRV is a non-local phenomenon.

LynB: Yes. Absolutely.

POC: How established is CRV in Ireland?

LynB: We have appeared on the Gerry Ryan Radio Show many times, which is a high point in my life. I love that guy! He’s fantastic! He’s one of the best radio personalities I’ve ever met! We have taught classes in Ireland (since 2007) and have now about twenty CRV’ers trained to different levels. We also did the largest remote viewing experiment in recorded history on the Gerry Ryan Show, where we had something like 35,000 Irish people predict the performance of a stock for the next day and they (49% of them) predicted correctly. So, Ireland is not only a fantastic place, it’s also learning about remote viewing now.

POC: If governments are using this, and if it can be used for looking at real events and things that have happened, can it also be used to explore anomalous phenomena, such as unusual energies or UFO sightings, or things like that?

LynB: Yes, it can. However, that comes with a caution. Just because you think you get (an idea or impression of) something in a remote viewing session doesn’t make it true. And you notice I used ‘remote viewing’ and not ‘Controlled Remote Viewing’? Controlled Remote Viewing is a science so, when we teach, we never use targets that don’t have any feedback. Those are called ‘esoteric targets’. UFO’s, the Galactic Council Headquarters on the planet Scooby Doo and what was the shape of Jesus’ beard, don’t have feedback. We train every viewer with things that have accurate feedback. We have them do their CRV session and then we pull out the feedback (picture/information) immediately and we go through the list saying “Look, you got this right and you got this wrong. Here’s your weakness and here’s your strengths”, etc. We database everything. Once a viewer has a good, solid track record, so that we know, beyond any shadow of a doubt that they have an 80% accuracy in colours, 90% accuracy in shapes and we know their accuracies for the different kinds of information, only THEN can we give them esoteric targets and know how much to depend on their answer. If you just go to a psychic or a ‘remote viewer’, and they do their session, you don’t know whether they are accurate or not. There’s no track record. There’s no databasing. There’s no science to it. The difference between CRV and what everyone is calling ‘remote viewing’ is that we are scientific, we have accurate records, we have a databased track record of strengths and weaknesses for every viewer and it’s dependable.

POC: Can you give any examples of where CRV has been used to investigate an anomalous phenomenon, such as a UFO sighting or event?

LynB: Oh, yeah. Let me preface this; with highly trained and highly documented CRV’ers, we have done UFO sightings. We have done State Department-type ‘Area Books’ for research into other planets, and the cultures on other planets, the reason being that ‘First Contact’ situations are always the most dangerous. The State Department Area Books teach you about a culture before you get there, so that you don’t make mistakes. And so, we can do the same thing for cultures that we will meet on other planets, and we’ve been doing that.

POC: You don’t want to go shake the alien’s head instead of its hand!

LynB: Yeah! (laughs)

POC: What is the one thing that stands out for you, having trained and experienced CRV? Is there a particular event or case that you worked that shines out for you, above all others, as being deeply significant?
LynB: There are actually three. We did a lot of work, we saved a lot of lives and we uncovered a lot of things. One; I was doing this session on Saddam Hussein’s plans and intentions for the next day and found out that he had a US-made rocket that had been stolen, and was aimed at Mecca for the Haj and, on the feast of Ramadan, he was going to lob this rocket into there, kill all of the leaders of the Arab world, and of course, he would be sick that day, or something like that, so he couldn’t go, and that would leave him as leader of the Arab world to do a jihad on America. That information was passed on up and they found the rocket and it didn’t happen. If it had, the ‘free world’ would be no longer free right now because, the way things were at the time, the ‘free world’ did not have the ability to fight the Muslim nations gathered together and win. Now we can.

The second one; the Russians had a ‘destruction machine’, an energy device, and we were tasked to find out what was going on inside the beam.

Paul: So, was it like a beam weapon?

LynB: Yeah, it was a beam weapon. And of course, if you put anything inside the beam it’s immediately destroyed. This thing could blow a hole through a mountain! So, they decided “Well, lets see if a remote viewer can step into the beam and find out what’s going on.” I thought that would be neat, so I volunteered for it. It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen in my life, and I won’t even try to describe it, because it was totally indescribable. Time itself was all screwed up inside that beam. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life. But, it was also quite strange because Time would keep breaking-up and I would see myself all the way through my entire life, forward and backward. Then, once I saw that, I would all of a sudden be ‘me’ again. Time kept getting screwed up. Anyway, it was the most beautiful and most amazing thing I have ever seen.

The one that had the most effect on me was a practice session one day, when we were doing personality assessments. Now, they had given me personality assessments before on all these foreign leaders and mafia people and everything else, and it was really getting me down. I went in and complained about it and my director said “Hey, you’re a soldier. Do your job and shuddup.” Well, I guess about a week later, they gave me this practice target. I didn’t know it was a practice target. They just said it was a personality assessment. When I started I got this feeling like I’ve never had before and my first comment was “Whatever bad thing you think this guy’s did, he didn’t do it. This guys innocent. So, I went through the entire session and by the end of the session I felt like I was just glowing! I had never met anyone before like this in my entire life. My summation was “Whatever evil you think this guy did, he didn’t do it.” When we finished the session my monitor opened the envelope and he said “Oh,” and he showed me the piece of paper for the tasking, and it was just a simple sheet of paper and, in the middle, was written “Jesus”. I did a personality assessment and probably met Jesus in a way that nobody on earth yet has met in recent times, you know, because I met him directly. In fact, I got a personality assessment on myself in the process and I wasn’t proud of what I was in that presence. The thing that got me most was that he didn’t condemn me for anything I did that was bad. He didn’t praise me for anything I did that was good. He just accepted me. There is something life-changing to find out that God accepts you. That one session changed my life more than any other.

Paul: It’s many years now since you left the army. Yet you’re still very passionate about something that you were trained in as a military tool. What is your hope or your dream for Controlled Remote Viewing?

LynB: Well, I hope it changes humanity, or enough of humanity to make a difference in the world. You’re right; I still have a passion for it. I’m not surprised by anything that happens in a remote viewing session anymore (and I’ve seen some really, really strange things happen!). But, even though I’m not surprised that much anymore, if I ever quit being fascinated with it, I’ll quit and go back to programming computers! That’s what I was doing beforehand anyway. There’s more money in it (laughs)!

One of the biggest joys of teaching remote viewing is that moment when a student realises that they are more than they have ever known before, and that they can actually do this and that they actually can have access to the Universe, and all space and time. When that moment happens, you can see it on their face. And that’s the moment I live for in the training. So, like I say, I’m not surprised by hardly anything that happens anymore because I’ve seen so much of it. But, if I ever quit being amazed by it, well…, I don’t think I’ll ever quit being amazed by it. It’s just not going to happen.

Charisma is a curious thing – magnetic, inspiring, unforgettable. In today’s world, an obvious holder of that certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ is Barack Obama; a not-so-obvious one is a little Yoda-type character with a shining presence and a soft snorting chuckle who also casts a spell wherever he speaks.
Organisers say his Irish talk to an audience of over 1,000 could have sold out three times over, he was in such big demand. And since then, so impressed was Oprah by him that they did a 10-week webcast class together, tuned in to by millions.
A spiritual guide of our time, Eckhart Tolle is a master at getting people to see how often they spend their lives ricocheting from thoughts of the past to plans for the future without stopping to embrace that thing called the present.
As he puts it: “There is only one moment and it’s always now”.
At 60, Tolle has a gift of reducing life’s complications to more digestible bite-size morsels – which probably goes a long way to explain why his book The Power of Now has been translated into over 30 languages.
But it wasn’t always that way.
Born in the village of Lunen in Germany, Tolle’s upbringing wasn’t conventional. At 13, he left school rather than study things he didn’t enjoy. And when his parents divorced, he went to live with his father in Alicante, Spain where his first jobs included being a tour guide and translating restaurant menus.
At 18, he moved to England, studied for his O and A Levels at night and went on to graduate from the University of London with a first class degree in languages and literature. Throughout, he was driven by the need to succeed, while vacillating between anxiety and suicidal depression. “I felt lonely and not good enough, I wasn’t good at relating to the opposite sex and was worried about not fitting in.”
Then at 29, this all changed.
“One night, my unhappy self dissolved and the next day I woke up totally at peace. Externally nothing had changed, yet everything had,” he smiles. “In the middle of the night I was woken up with a dreadful anxiety and I thought ‘I can’t live with myself any longer.’ It was as if there were two of me – the ‘I’ and this ‘self” that I cannot live with. As I looked at the structure of the sentence it produced a dizziness, a vertigo – in that moment something was dying. I didn’t know what was happening at the time but now I realise it was my unhappy, mental, ego-created self dying, and the ‘I’ is consciousness itself.”
Some time after this “inner transformation”, Tolle changed his first name from Ulrich to Eckhart following a dream in which he saw books lying around. On the cover of one was the name Eckhart and he knew he had written it.
By coincidence, he bumped into an acquaintance, a psychic, a few days later who, for no apparent reason, called him Eckhart! Having become a completely different person he was ready to relinquish the name Ulrich and the unhappy energy the name held for him.
Although Tolle’s own awakening happened overnight, for most the shift from being anxious or depressed to being totally at peace – which he describes as the disintegration of the ego – is a more gradual process.
On the road to freedom, he believes, the first step is realising that the voice talking in your head is not you. “When you learn to disidentify with these thoughts in your head, the consciousness that arises is a deeper awareness, a deeper connection with a timeless essence.”
Today the life of this former recluse is utterly transformed as he travels the world sharing the joy of living in the present moment and how that might best be achieved. “As you wake up, life loses its seriousness and heaviness. When the ego no longer has you in its grip, life is more playful and full of laughter,” he says, a ray of sunshine packaged in an unusual-looking man dressed in an earthy toned checked shirt, buttoned-up cardigan and cords.
This lightness, dry humour and how at ease he is with himself leaves an indelible impression.
The author of three books – The Power of Now, Stillness Speaks and his latest A New Earth – it has to be said Tolle is the most unlikely of public speakers.
Rather than actively engaging his audience by pacing up and down a stage, he is primly tucked into a big armchair. His quiet slow delivery of speech punctuated only by his unusual little soft snorting chuckle. An infectious chuckle that’s heard far more than expected in both public talks and this rare interview.
And as for what he is going to speak about, he never knows ahead of time – instead he lets it arise in the moment.
All these things considered, it shouldn’t really work, but it does.
It may have something to do with the fact that while the content of Tolle’s books is serious, the man is anything but. He did enough of it in the past, he laughs.
Whether on stage or on a one-to-one, Tolle’s conversation flows fluidly from one idea into another without a hiccup. The answer to one question can cover many areas. Like, for example, when addressing just how practical it is to always be in the present moment if a person needs to make fundamental life changes:
“On the simplest level when driving from point A to point B, many people get stressed because they project themselves forward in their mind to where they need or want to be. All the intervening time of travelling is spent in a state of stress, anxiety, impatience or anger because they are not fully present where they are,” he says. “When it becomes a mental pattern as it does for most people, wherever you are you are never fully there because when you get to point B you’re already projecting where you want to be next. If you reduce all that there ever is – which is now – to a means to an end then the whole quality of your life deteriorates and becomes dysfunctional.”
(He does however talk of the importance of ‘clock time’. “You can use your mind if you want to creatively imagine where you want to go. You focus your mind to see how can I get from here to there and what steps do I need to take. This is the use of time on a practical level and we can’t do without that.”)
Bringing it back to the person who is not happy with what they are doing, he advises them to be very careful not to generate resistance to the present moment.
“While knowing you want something better for yourself, you can still, for that moment, internally accept this is how it is at this moment. In other words, you don’t generate negativity, opposition or unhappiness inside yourself and you do not fight life. The action generated from this place is far more powerful because it is not contaminated with negativity.
“For example, if you are angry about being poor, you might get rich because you work very hard and want to prove to the world that you can make it. But, even if you do get rich, you won’t be happy because the whole action will have been generated out of anger. You can also take the step from being poor to rich by not accepting ‘I’m poor’, because that is just a story, but by accepting ‘I have very little in my bank account’. Many people who have practiced this have told me their life changed the moment they no longer face the present moment from a place of opposition, of resistance. It doesn’t mean you get stuck with where you are, in fact change is easier when, first of all, there is an inner state of ease at what is and there is a flow and acceptance,” he says.
A wordy reply perhaps, but gold dust.
Asked if he had only one piece of advice to dispense what would it be, his answer is simple: Make the present moment into your friend.
“Whatever stands in your way is the way. If you can welcome the form your life takes at this moment, the entire structure of ‘should’ goes out the window. And the miracle is when you totally accept the form of this moment, it changes for the better.”
“Even better”, he suggests, “accept this moment as if you had chosen it. How would you approach this unpleasant person or situation if you had chosen it to be this way? You would be in alignment. What if I’d asked this person to be difficult just to give me some practice. Everything becomes practice. You would see every condition in your life now as happening to help you transcend the condition. Transcendence is an inner phenomenon and goes beyond conditions. Who you are is not touched by conditions”.
“After all, in the end”, he says, “your life only amounts to a two inch dash. All your striving to achieve, the struggle and the searching for the perfect partner, ideal career and dream life is encapsulated in a two inch dash between your date of birth and your date of death on your grave stone. Contained therein are the dilemmas of a person’s entire life”.
Scary but true.

Dr. Anthony Sharkey (MB, Bch, BA0, DCH, Trinity 1982) is Ireland’s only medically qualified doctor specializing in the use of Mindful EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) for serious illness.

EFT has been clinically effective in thousands of cases for trauma, abuse, stress, fear, Children’s Issues and hundreds of physical symptoms including headaches, body pains, asthma and other breathing difficulties. When EFT is properly applied with Mindfulness, it results in both substantial and measurable improvement or a total cessation of the problem entirely.

PL: Could you tell us in the most simplistic fashion, “What is EFT?”

A: Most people know about the use of acupuncture to treat physical pain. It has now been discovered that the same acupuncture procedures can also be used to treat emotional pain. Think of EFT as acupuncture without needles for the treatment of emotional pain.

PL: Why does EFT get people to focus on the negative? This seems to go against the popular philosophy of only focusing on the positive?

A: When you ‘focus on the negative’ this means that you are bringing your mindfulness to an essentially painful experience that has not gone away despite your previous best efforts. You focus very deliberately to enable you to apply EFT to it. This is a very conscious, mindful act – obviously a quite different process from passively allowing your mind to repeatedly go into an emotionally painful place and, somehow, remain stuck there.

PL: What could someone expect when they go for a session with you?

A: The essence of a session is that I guide a person to connect with their issue and hold it in mind. As they do this they tap on designated points on their head and chest area. At the same time they repeat phrases that are specific to their case. Obviously there is an art to becoming clear and specific about exactly how to proceed here and that is where mindful awareness comes in. I also use muscle testing to guide me.

PL: Can you really learn to do it for yourself or is it best to go to a practitioner?

A: Yes, you can learn how to do it for yourself. There are plenty of examples of ordinary people on the emofree.com website who just came across the technique, tried it on themselves and found that they had totally cured themselves – sometimes of very serious disease! If you are not getting results, this is often because of aspects of your case that are specific to you. This is where we at the EFT Clinic come in. We are practiced in uncovering these aspects for you and I would suggest calling us, as we offer a free 20-minute telephone consultation.

PL: Have you any recent success stories?

A: Yes, things have recently gone on to a new level. A few days ago I had an impromptu session with a nurse who had been in constant pain after an attack of shingles. After the EFT treatment, her pain went down to a degree that she had never experienced without the help of painkillers. She was impressed. I was impressed! It doesn’t happen with every single patient, but that kind of sudden, dramatic stuff is now quite common for me. On my recent seminar, everyone who came forward experienced a massive improvement live onstage, so that was nice! In fact my promotional text for that seminar at Cultivate read:

“JUST DROP IN TO SEE PEOPLE BEING HEALED. It goes against the grain to say this as a Doctor but that is what you are going to see on the day, it’s as simple as that.”

As a special gift to our online readers, we’ve published the EXTENDED VERSION of our amazing interview with Inna Segal. It was just too big to fit in the already jam-packed “Winter Issue” of our printed magazine, which is available to buy (or in some places even to pick up for free) now!

Inna Segal is an internationally recognized healer, professional speaker, author and television host. She is the creator of Visionary Intuitive Healing® and her book, “The Secret Language of Your Body: The Essential Guide to Healing”. She offers people of all ages simple, effective processes to heal the emotional, mental and energetic causes of dis-ease in each part of their physical body. We caught up with her when she arrived home from Paris, where she has just launched the French edition of her best-selling book.

Patrick: So, Inna, tell us a bit about your healing, spiritual journey so far.

Inna: I’ve always had a sense that I was here for a big reason, to make a difference on a global scale, but it wasn’t until I got sick and no one else could heal me that I tuned in to my own Divine Healing Intelligence and healed my physical pain almost overnight that I discovered my real life’s work. (For the full story of Inna’s amazing recovery from serious health problems, visit www.innasegal.com)

Soon after, I discovered that I could also tune into other people and help them to heal. I believe that we’re all born with this intuitive ability and if people are guided, in the right way by the right person, they can also have these abilities open up and make a huge difference both in their own life and other people‘s lives.

It’s exciting to be able to do it, to be able to change people’s lives like that, but I’m also extremely practical and extremely grounded. I can be very sceptical about big claims that people make and always remind people that deep transformation takes time and even though I healed the physical pain in my body quickly the emotional, mental and energetic blockages took much longer to release.
My intention is to teach people a process of healing which is full, complete, works on all levels, mental, emotional, physical, spiritual and energetic and comes from the highest source of divine love.

Patrick: There are a lot of books about healing out there already. Why write this book, and why now?

Inna: I find that a lot of people get stuck on things that they’ve learned in the past, but they don’t realise that, vibrationally, the world is changing very rapidly. In the same way that technology has changed from vinyl records to tape cassettes to CDs and now MP3s, spiritual, emotional and vibrational energy is changing, which means that things that have worked really well 10 or 15 years ago don’t work as well anymore and can actually, at times, be dangerous, because something has changed in the world. I believe that we have to be intuitive to give ourselves the opportunity to tune in and become aware of the changes and the new wisdom which is coming. This does not mean that we should reject the Ancient wisdom, just marry the two.

Patrick: Have you any simple techniques to help people tune in to their bodies and their intuition?

Inna: This is from my book The Secret Language of Your Body and is similar to what I originally used to heal myself.

Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.

Count backwards from 30 as you take deep breaths and allow your mind and body to relax.

Focus on an area in your body that feels blocked or where you have pain.

Breathe into the area for a few moments and then put your hands on that area.

Ask your body, “Is there a message you want to give me?”

Take a few deep breaths as you allow any messages to come to the surface.

Write the messages down.

Say: “I call on my Divine Healing Intelligence to help release all pain, blockages and density from this area.”

Allow yourself to watch and feel, as dense energy leaves your body.

Say: “I call on my Divine Healing Intelligence to infuse this area with healing energy. I command that all the immune mechanisms of my body be activated and my body now return to a state of perfect balance and health.”

Breathe in continuously for a minute, allowing the energy to build.Imagine a gold light moving through your body and repairing it.

When you feel lighter, gently bring your awareness back to usual and open your eyes, knowing that you have activated your own Divine Healing Intelligence.

Patrick: How can you tell the difference between your intuition and a regular thought?

Inna: Intuition is a much more physical experience inside the body. It’s not a mental experience. It’s not a thought. It’s more of an inspiration and it can often be unexpected. Also when we are not sure it can be repetitive.

Patrick: How can you tell the difference between your intuition and an emotion, such as a fear based on some past experience?

Inna: You can’t tell the difference until you release the fear or the emotion from the past because its going to cover up your intuition. For example when people tune into their physical body they will often feel something but it may not be what they want to feel so they will say, “I’m not feeling anything.” Which is how they cut off their intuition and their communication. Instead, people can ask their body questions like, “Is this feeling mine? Where does it come from? Can I release it?”. Then once they’ve asked, they can wait and you allow the answers to come.

Intuition can come from many different sources in many ways. It can come from you just receiving a message, or it can come from your asking specific, clear questions. The answers can also come from the universal intelligence or other people but you have to be patient and open enough to listen and to recognise the answers when they come. Not to go, “Okay, I need it this second,” and if its not here then, think that it doesn‘t work.

Patrick: What’s the benefit of going to a practitioner such as yourself for help with a healing?

Inna: It has to do with experience. If you’re connecting to a higher source, you need to be extremely clear about what it is because there are so many energies out there now. I can tune in and tell you what’s going on in your mental, emotional, physical, spiritual levels at any point, and I ask for information about a person from their Higher Soul because it is a clear and pure source of information.

Patrick: How does reading your book compare with attending your workshops?

Inna: In my workshops, I teach a few things that are not in the book and afterwards when people use the book, they know exactly what to do and it means more to them on a deeper level. An experience is different than just reading a book.

In order for us to heal completely, we have to look at every aspect of healing and we have to start from the beginning. In many workshops and teachings people have separated the different aspects of our being, the emotions, the mind, the physical body, energy and vibration. In fact, its all connected and its all one. So, what I wanted to do was to take all of these aspects and create something that works on every level.

I think that what I teach is extremely practical. It’s easy to use and it works on many different levels. With most of the processes you can do them anytime anywhere and nobody would know. Its basically a lifestyle change, with simple easy things that make such a huge difference that you go, “How did I live without it?” Your life becomes more intuitive. It’s not that you don’t have any challenges, but you know how to deal with them.

Patrick: Where does this healing energy come from?

Inna: The easiest answer is that for me it comes from the divine source, but it’s not something that I can quantify and make you hold in your hand at this point. What I say to people is that it’s very important in terms of your spiritual evolution that you have an understanding of the different levels of where things come from. You can become aware of the different feelings associated with the various energies.

One of the biggest levels where people get their energy from is the Astral vibration, but, even though it can be strong, it’s not the highest energy and it’s not the most powerful and it can actually be extremely deceiving.

I believe there are two aspects to our soul. There’s the aspect of the soul which travels through many lives collecting karma and different information, and this is something we have to keep working through throughout of life. Then there’s an aspect of your soul which is completely pure and clear, from my understanding, and it’s connected to the divine source. I don’t believe that it’s something that actually needs a name upon it, but if we had to call it something, we’d call it God.

I feel like our soul has that purest awareness, purest intention, purest connection, so I call it the Highest Soul. People have called it the highest self, but to me it’s slightly different, because it’s still part of your soul, but it’s part of your soul that’s never left the Source, the Divine Connection, which means that it’s your purest channel to anything.

I might be tuning into the emotional body, or the physical, or the mental, or the etheric, but because there is perfection on the Higher Soul level, this is the best part to use to help us with healing. When we connect to the soul, our own vibration heightens, which means that we’re in an energy field which allows other people to heal.

Patrick: When you connect with that level, does it ever tell you that its already perfect and doesn’t need to be healed?

Inna: If the soul on that higher level says that they are perfect, it’s true that they are, and by connecting to that perfection, we can direct that pure healing energy to parts of the body that may not be perfect. Because there is an imprint of perfection in the soul, the physical body, the emotional body, it copies whatever is the strongest thing. So it starts to copy the soul and says, “Oh, there is a perfect imprint, let me heal.”

Patrick: What are some of your best habits for maintaining health and happiness?

Inna: In my book, I give 10 basic principles for healing.
