In our modern world; often our minds work overtime categorising this\, labelling that. In the process we engage in a yoga of separation\, we examine what distinguishes us from each other and our surroundings\, we say “I am like this…. I am not like that”! \nA Buddhist principle states what we rest our hearts and minds upon we become. Creating and meditating upon mandalas provide a safe sanctuary for us to rest are weary minds. In so doing we come into harmony with patterns of order that awakens us to the beauty of the creative principle. This beauty operates at every scale from the 70 trilllion cells that make up our bodies to the 100 billion galaxies in our cosmic neighbourhood. Mandalas open us to a much deeper aspect of ourselves and facilitate a great remembering of our inherent wholeness.  \nGeoff Fitzpatrick founded www.mandalanature.com and runs very successful sand mandala workshops.
