To coincide with our homage to Ram Dass in our Winter 2019/2020 issue\, we are delighted to announce a screening of his new movie Becoming Nobody\, followed by a Q & A with the director Jamie Catto. \nThis event will take place on Thursday January 16th\, from 7.30 to 9.30 p.m. The cost for this event is donation-only. Our venue is the beautiful Irish Gospel Hall\, Chapel Of Ease\, 57 Irishtown Road\, Dublin 4. He continued his psychedelic research until that fateful Eastern trip in 1967\, when he traveled to India. There\, he met his guru\, Neem Karoli Baba\, affectionately known as Maharaj-ji\, who gave Ram Dass his name\, which means ‘servant of God.’ Everything changed for Ram Dass at that moment – his intense dharmic life started\, and he became a pivotal influence on a culture that has reverberated with the words ‘Be Here Now’ ever since. \nRam Dass’ spirit has been a guiding light for generations\, helping to free milllions of people from their bonds\, as he has worked through his own. His unique skill in getting people to cut through and feel Divine Love\, without dogma\, remains a positive influence for people around the world. \nFor more on Ram Dass\, go to: ramdass.org \nAbout Jamie Catto: Jamie Catto is the creator\, producer/director of the multi-award winning global 1 Giant Leap films and albums\, and founding member of Faithless.
