Human Garage
How To Make Friends With Your Fascia
An interactive talk by Brenda Barrett and Dominique Krauch from Human Garage in Dublin, Ireland.
Human Garage is a bold worldwide movement helping millions of people to heal themselves through fascia-based “maneuvers”.
Join us this June for this interactive talk exploring the fascinating world of fascia and fascial maneuvers.
But what exactly is fascia?
Fascia is the connective tissue that surrounds and weaves through every muscle, organ, nerve, blood vessel and bone in the body. It is everywhere. A living web of communication, support and connection. It plays a vital role in movement, posture, emotions, healing, pain, tension and overall wellbeing. It intertwines with all the systems of the body and even mirrors the pathways of the meridians.
In this talk, Brenda and Dominique will explore:
- What fascia is and why it matters
- How fascia influences our health and daily life
- The relationship between fascia, movement, emotions and the nervous system
- How fascial maneuvers can help release tension, improve mobility and support the body’s natural ability to heal
This will not just be a talk. It will be an experience.
Throughout the session, they’ll guide the audience through a few simple interactive movements and fascial maneuvers so you can learn, feel and apply the techniques directly to your own body.
You’ll have the opportunity to experience firsthand what it feels like to shift, soften and open the fascia.
There will also be time for conversation and a live Q&A.
Come curious. Leave connected. Because fascia really is… FASCIA-nating!
