The Funky Seomra is an alcohol and drug free nightclub for body, heart and soul. It is for people of all ages and all backgrounds, in short absolutely everyone is welcome.
Our door policy is over 18’s and strictly alcohol and drug free. That’s it. Over the 3 and a half years of running the Funky Seomra we have not had one single unsavory incident, this is a nightclub with heart!
Described as ‘.. amazing, like a mini festival or mini Electric Picnic without the booze!’ on the Dave Fanning Show, our aim has been to create a festival like atmosphere without alcohol or drugs. Due to the success of our events we have had extensive coverage in the Irish Times, Irish Times Magazine, Sunday Independent, RTE Nationwide, Dave Fanning Show, Today FM as well as international coverage on Radio Paris Nova and BBC Radio 1.
There is an interactive art area, giant games area, an Organic Cafe by the Happy Pear, cinema screen visuals, story telling room, live musicians, chill out area with massage and shiatsu, body and face painting by Indigo Body Art, massive dance floor, great tunes, special guest DJ’s, welcoming atmosphere where you are free to be yourself and dance free!
