One of the amazing holistic luminaries we interviewed for our Autumn 2021 issue was Yvonne Skelly. Yvonne is a healer and visionary entrepreneur who runs three wellness businesses – the newest of which is the beautiful Lake Shore Wellness Centre, located in Blessington.

Chilling at the aloha house with the beautiful owner Louise Kleu. This place is simply amazing and needs to be seen to be believed. If you fancy a personal retreat or you are a practitioner looking for a workshop space amidst the beauty of Kerry to run your next course then this is for you. Louise runs Lomi Lomi courses and offers one on one treatments . I got a treatment as well and it’s an amazing experience .
Look out for my full article on this experience in our next issue out in September 2017.
Aloha House is based in Killorglin, County Kerry, and is the home of Lomi Lomi Ireland School of Hawaiian Healing Arts. A very short walking distance to Killorglin town with plenty of top class restaurants & pubs. Loads to see and do in the surrounding areas – for all ages.

Manifesting Dreams into Reality
If you’ve ever wondered a dream looks like manifested into reality, through spirit and enthusiasm, look no further than ‘An Sanctóir’ in West Cork.
A group in West Cork had a vision to create a community-owned, spiritually orientated centre. They formed a trust and borrowed money to buy 30 acres of land. With the skilled help of many volunteers, the wonderful, octagonal building, complete with under-floor heating, was completed in 1996.
Since the doors of An Sanctóir opened, classes in movement, meditation, yoga, song and dance have been held on a weekly basis. A successful kindergarten has also been established on-site and volunteers help to maintain the land.
It was the home of the iconic ‘Frog Fair’ for many years and other much anticipated annual activities include the ‘Easter Adventure’ and the kids’ summer camp.
Private functions such as naming ceremonies, weddings and memorials are becoming more popular events to hold there too. People appreciate the joyful energy created by those who have used the space over the years
This year the Bliss Festival, a three-day focus on Tantra, was a great success and the New Era Forum in September promises to be very exciting too. The forum will see international authors and psychics discussing the changes we’re experiencing and suggesting empowering solutions to survive the changes.
