Many small business owners will know that when you answer the call to share your gifts with the world, you will experience a miraculous sense of inner and outer alchemy. There is a deep inner peace associated with deciding to follow your heart, wherever it leads you.
In Ireland’s holistic community, few stories demonstrate this quite as clearly as the story of Yvonne Skelly.
Yvonne is a visionary wellness entrepreneur who currently owns and runs three wellness businesses, located in Naas and Blessington. Her new holistic venture, Lake Shore Wellness Centre, was birthed earlier this year, after she moved to Blessington – answering ‘a call from the land’ to connect with the area. Soon after the move, she was presented with the opportunity to use a vacant building nearby as a holistic healing centre.
‘It didn’t make logical sense to open a third healing centre,’ she shares with a smile. ‘I already had the Naas Holistic Centre, but I went with it and decided to open Lake Shore Wellness Centre too, because I felt very deeply that it was the right thing to do. Since then, the synchronicities I’ve experienced have been amazing. I’ve connected with so many wonderful people. The lakes near the Centre are beautiful. I always recommend to clients that they walk near them before or after their treatment, as I really believe that the water adds to their healing.’
The Centre offers a wide range of relaxing and restorative treatments – including, but not limited to: massage, reflexology, acupuncture, counselling/psychotherapy, Reiki, sound healing and kinesiology. Yvonne is an intuitive energy and sound healer in her own right. She works with individuals and groups, both online and in person.
