Thursday October 3rd, 8pm
Manitonquat has spoken to peace conferences and groups on 3 continents, was the keynote speaker at the United Nations observance of the 50th anniversary of Gandhi’s assassination, directs programs for native spirituality in 7 prisons, a nature school on his land, and, with his wife Ellika, workshops and international family camps in the USA and Canada, Austria, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Italy, Spain and soon in the Czech Republic, England and Ireland.
An outgrowth of a course he taught at a Waldorf high school became the book, Changing the World which describes the vision of human community he has been developing through workshops and camps since 1967. More insight into that vision can be found in his last book Have You Lost Your Tribe? And in articles and photographs on the site.
