The Celtic Woodland Yoga Festival Returns

by Admin

Yoga is a force for unity which goes beyond race, gender, faith and nations. For many people in recent times, it has come to the rescue in terms of keeping the body fit and the mind serene. From August 1st – 3rd 2020, the Celtic Woodland Yoga Festival will attract over 20,000 yogis from all over the world, but this year, the event will be virtual! We attended last year’s inaugural event, and found it to be a truly beautiful and heart-expanding experience. We are extremely excited about its return!

This year, 30 Irish and International renowned teachers will present the unique and special Celtic Woodland Yoga Festival, which is FREE to people with a love of yoga practice and lifestyle, artistic expression, and the natural world.

Festival founder, renowned yoga teacher and award-winning film maker Cathy Pearson has carefully and lovingly curated this event and gathered a great diversity of teachers deeply immersed in their chosen field.

Teachers like Randall O’Leary from the USA and Thailand, Dan Ward from the USA, Daisy Kaye from Australia, Sebastian Bruno from Portugal and our own Michael Ryan (yoga teacher to President Michael D Higgins) will join instructors from Holland, Australia, Portugal, Austria, India, Hawaii, Mexico, Spain and Canada to bring a global unity and togetherness to the festival.

Brú na Bóinne, Townley Hall in County Louth will be the virtual venue for the Celtic Woodland Yoga Festival.
