April Awakens: Hello, Positive Lifers! We hope you and your loved ones are staying well at this time. If you haven’t seen our Spring 2020 magazine, we highly recommend taking a look. The full magazine is available online here. Our main feature is an interview with the incredible Dr. Gabor Maté. We also featured some wise guidance on building up confidence from Judith McAdam, a look at how gentle playtime can help you connect with your kids, by our parenting expert Anna Cole, and an exclusive interview with Julia Cannon, daughter of the legendary mystic Dolores Cannon.
positive nights
PLEASE NOTE: Due to global events, this event is now postponed. We hope to arrange a new date as soon as possible.
Following our previous visits from the acclaimed yoga teacher, musician and folklorist Jack Harrison, we are thrilled to have him back at Positive Nights to perform his beautiful music on Thursday April 2nd from 7.30 to 9.30 p.m. in Bewley’s Café, 78/79 Grafton Street, Dublin 2.
Jack first encountered yoga in the 1970s and 1980s in San Francisco. After leaving the U.S., he began to work with the Irish Wheel of Yoga in Galway. He launched his career as a yoga teacher in 2005. Throughout his career, he has travelled extensively and studied a wide range of yoga styles, including Iyengar, Satyananda, Ashtanga and Anusara.
Jack has also had a keen interest in music and singing since his childhood. He holds a Masters degree in Irish Folklore and Archaeology and has worked for many years as a consultant and lecturer in Heritage Interpretation. In recent years, he began to understand the deep connections between his three interests – yoga, music, and folklore/archaeology – and established the Celtic School of Yoga to help tie together the yoga traditions of India with those of the Celtic world.
He has travelled widely around the world, offering workshops, intensives and teacher trainings. and his teaching work is now strong influenced by the Celtic tradition. These practices explore how to ally movement of the body with breath, focus, mythology, poetry, music and the natural world.
We are thrilled to be hosting him for a special concert on Thursday April 26nd from 7.30 to 9.30 p.m. in Bewley’s Café Theatre, 78/79 Grafton Street, Dublin 2. Click here to book your tickets.
IMPORTANT: This notice is for everyone who is planning to attend tonight’s event with Sarah Gilhooly, especially those who have purchased tickets (we have emailed those of you who did this). The event is now postponed until MAY 7th. Stay well and connect to your own presence. We will be back on March 27th with the screening of ‘Fantastic Fungi’.
Join us for an evening of exploring The Presence with EDUCO® Model educator Sarah Gilhooly on Thursday March 12th, from 7.30 to 9.30 p.m.
Sarah says, ‘The Presence is all around you and throughout the universe. It is a Power that has the capability of bringing about a new future. By tapping into your greater mind, your Life Force / Power can be expressed through you in its pure form, allowing you to experience the Presence. With this comes a greater mind, nature and power which is your Real Self.’
Sarah Gilhooly works as an Educator of Dr. Tony Quinn’s EDUCO® Model, an educational model that has won a global award for education, and was the subject of a series of life changing before-and-after studies with a university.
The foundation of The EDUCO® Model is to teach people how to use more of their minds, achieving a greater mental capacity, and ultimately accessing their True Nature as human beings.
EDUCO® means ‘to draw out’, and Dr. Quinn’s work is focused on drawing out the essence of who people are – their Real Self and their resulting Power / Life Force – for ultimate living.
When a person allows their Life Force to be expressed freely through them, they experience the goodness of their True Nature and a connection to a greater Presence in the world.
Our event with Sarah will take the form of a one-hour interview, followed by a short break, then a Q & A session with the audience.
This event will take place on Thursday March 12th, from 7.30 to 9.30 p.m. in Bewley’s Café, 78/79 Grafton Street, Dublin 2. Click here to learn more and book your tickets.

Join us for a fascinating exploration of Kundalini Yoga in the Aquarian Age with Guru Dharam.
Guru Dharam has an international healing and yoga practice. He has taught Kundalini yoga since 1980, and has been practising Oriental medicine since 1988 when he founded the Lotus Healing Centre, London. He served as the Vice Principal of the London Academy of Oriental Medicine. He also founded the International School of Kundalini Yoga in the UK in 1996 with Darryl O’Keeffe, co-author of ‘The Kundalini Yoga Experience’, teaching people to become yoga teachers. Together, they have led training courses in Sweden, UK, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Malaysia, and the United States.
Through Guru Dharam’s long-standing dedication to the practice of Kundalini Yoga, he has a wealth of knowledge about the world from an energetic viewpoint, and is happy to answer any questions. His passion is to facilitate others’ spiritual journeys as we move into the Aquarian age. During our evening with him, Guru Dharam will explore the role of spirituality in the Aquarian age.
“Kundalini Yoga is the first choice method of attuning yourself to the Aquarian Age. It is the time to exercise the power of love instead of the Piscean love for power. All of the layers of our biosystem need to switch gear to receive this energetic transmission. But switching gear means clearing, releasing and refining at all levels of our being. This is where the model of Kundalini as a primary healing modality becomes so important and valuable to us – the light bearers and Spirit Guides of the Aquarian Age”.
Such healing is the speciality of Kundalini Yoga.
Our evening with Guru Dharam will take the form of a one-hour talk, followed by a short break and then a Q & A session with the audience.
This event will take place on Friday February 21st, from 7.30 to 9.30 p.m., in Bewley’s Café, 78/79 Grafton Street, Dublin 2. Click here to book your tickets.
