Celebrating Marriage
Marriage; equally famous for it’s delightful challenges as it is for its host of blessings but without a doubt, one of the loveliest positive news stories of our daily lives. What news could be more uplifting than the uniting of two people and two families and their friends, through love. Everything in life should be celebrated, but this is one of the most special. And we’d like to celebrate it here by sharing with you one of our favourite secret spots for weddings in Ireland.
Mount Druid is a boutique wedding venue hidden away in Co. Westmeath, immersed in parkland, broad leaf trees, lake and even a boathouse. The Tin Chapel, an unconsecrated Chapel, offers a beautiful building for the ceremony, a barn for dancing and the Summer House and Boat House offer great spaces for the reception. Perfectly on trend, they also have yurts. Love the outdoors but worried about chilly weather? There’s an outdoor fireplace, located in the walled garden with their outdoor barbecue!
Louise and Ed who married there this summer, loved the laid back atmosphere and stress-free approach of the staff, something you don’t necessarily find in every venue, but can make your day so much more enjoyable for you and for your loved ones.
