If you are looking for a fun event to attend, complete with glamour and thrills, look no further than the Film Fatale Masquerade ball being organised by La Fête, The Producers and Film Fatale. It takes place in the RDS, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, at 8.00 p.m. on Saturday May 12th, and continues until 2.00 a.m.
This extravaganza has a strict dress code: face-masks must be worn until midnight, together with your fanciest or wildest attire. Masquerade is for the vintage queens, the retro kings, the pop princes, the counts and courtesans, the disco divas, the new romantics, the bold and beautiful, the fantasists and the other-worldly. For one night only, you can be whoever you want.
Music will be provided by DJ Alice Apparently, DJ Mimi Rouge, Swing it Back, Tin Pan Alley Cats Rock and Soul Set with Brian Gilligan and the Film Fatale Orchestra. The event will be hosted by Prince Pompadour, with performances by the Fatale Follies Dance Troupe, Fatale Dollies, Bella Agogo, Azaria Starfire, Bonnie Boux, Bella Curve, Foxy P Cox and Bugsy Divine. While you’re there, don’t miss gambling with Lord Spiffington, Karaoke with the Queen of Pop Marie Antoinette and the Versaile Vixen Art Class.
