The 2015 Allergy and Free From Expo too place in the RDS Dublin 10-11 October this year as well as taking place in Cork this weekend. After spending much of our time sampling all the treats on offer in Dublin, and listening in to the cooking demos, we thought we’d put out some tips of who to check out if you’re headed to the Cork event or if you just want to find out more about some great suppliers for free from foods.

Possibly a surprising one as it’s not often we get to mention big chains but they’re doing fabulous work becoming a supermarket with a difference. Their Food Academy at the expo was super and you can pick up Nobo Ice Cream, Happy Pear pestos and chocolate from Dr. Coys in their stores nationwide. They’re also introducing more and more local producers and their health isle in their Blackrock store is as well stocked as a local health food store and even offers books and magazines on health. supervalu.ie
