Finding Ease in your Body

“When the body gets working appropriately, the force of gravity can flow through. Then, spontaneously, the body heals itself.”  Dr Ida P Rolf

Isn’t it wonderful that we live in a body that is always trying it’s best for us. Even when we are in physical misalignment or discomfort, our body is trying to find our greatest ease in that moment. Every minute of every day we have this wonderful friend, helping us manage through the various injuries and strains and stresses of our daily lives.

Even more amazing is how our body takes a strain from an injured or stuck area and redistributes it with no conscious thought required. We are so intricately and perfectly formed that each area of our body is affected by, and in turn affects, every other area. Our bodies are the ultimate connective web keeping a record of our physical and emotional story. As Rolfers / Structural Integrators our aim is to maximise the physical body’s potential, finding and releasing those areas under pressure by helping the connective tissue find a new and more efficient home. Our body really is our home. We live there 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. Here’s to making it as comfortable a home
as possible.
