I’ve had a few pinch-me moments in my life. One of them was on my way to Positive Nights, when Taoist Grandmaster Mantak Chia jumped out of my car and started directing me into a tight parking space! This, in many ways, defines the man he is – humble, simple, down to earth and very practical. He often says “I’m just a regular guy that does a lot of practice”. He makes esoteric practice seem easy and spiritual advancement, attainable.
Since I started organising his seminars here in Ireland, I’ve had many people phone me up saying that they’ve had Mantak Chia’s books for 30 years and can’t believe he is coming to Dublin!
It amazes me how he has been doing a world tour every year for the past 40 years. At 76 years young, Master Chia embodies the health and vitality that he teaches. He is fully committed to sharing this simple, ancient wisdom with as many people as possible, even beyond his own lifetime. Recently he told me about his 100 year plan for the continuation of his Universal Healing Tao practices.
Along with many others, I’ve been enchanted by Mantak Chia’s warmth, wit and wisdom. A special kind of energy builds up during the seminar week, doing Tai Chi, Qi Gong practice and energy meditations. Every day people return with bigger smiles and looking brighter, eager for more knowledge. Witnessing this transformation in others is the greatest joy for me in bringing the Tao to Ireland.
