Positive Nights: The Promise and Challenges of Psychedelic Therapy
During this very special Positive Nights event, we will be joined by Rob Coffey and Dr Darragh Stewart (Phd), co- founders of Inwardbound Psilocybin Retreats in the Netherlands, to talk about the promise and challenges facing the emerging field of psychedelic therapy.
We will be looking at some maps of consciousness associated with psychedelic therapy, how psychedelics can be used in a therapeutic way, and some of the risks associated with psychedelic therapy.
Rob Coffey is a psychotherapist (IACP pre-accredited), and since 2013 has been training as a Transpersonal Therapist at the Irish Centre for Shamanic Studies (Dunderry Park).
Dr Darragh Stewart has a Phd in plant genetics and is a co-founder of Inwardbound.
This event will take place over Zoom on Wednesday November 25th at 7.30 p.m. Irish time. If you are located outside Ireland, please check what this time will be in your local time zone. The link and login details will be sent to all ticket holders the day beforehand.

Join us for an exploration of psychedelics’ potential with the founders of InwardBound, Ireland’s first psychedelic retreats business. This event will take place on Thursday September 12th from 7.30 to 9.30 p.m. in the Central Hotel, 1-5 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2.
InwardBound is Ireland’s first psychedelic retreat business. Founders Robert Coffey, Dr. Darragh Stewart, David McNamara provide five-day retreats in the Netherlands, where psilocybin-containing truffles are legal. Our programme incorporates pre-screening, consultations and integration tools as standard. The Dublin-based team has been trained in relevant disciplines and has many years’ experience in safely facilitating psychedelic experiences.
Evidence-based scientific research shows that psilocybin may improve mental health and is showing promising results in the treatment of depression, anxiety, PTSD, addiction and eating disorders. Additionally, research participants report improvements in creativity, self-esteem and openness.
InwardBound’s methodology is based on the work of Dr Stan Grof and follows research models as closely as possible. They provide a safe container for clients to maximise their experience with psilocybin, in order to access their own inner healer.
They do not promote the consumption of a psychoactive substance, or supply psychoactive substances: instead, they focus on offering a retreat service for people who have decided they want to partake in a psychedelic experience, for which they have taken personal responsibility, and have obtained a psychoactive substance externally from a third party.
During our evening with them, we will be exploring the beneficial impacts that psychedelics – specifically, psilocybin – can have on our health. Click here to book your tickets.
