We are firm fans of The Happy Pear here at Positive Life (we love the recipes they provide for our magazine), so we’re excited to hear about their recent partnership with The Skin Nerd® team. They will soon be offering ‘The Happy Skin’, a four-week online course designed to help boost your skin health from the inside out through a combination of a wholefood plant-based diet plan and expert skincare advice.

They’re kicking off this initiative with an evening talk in Smock Alley Theatre with Jennifer Rock, The Skin Nerd® founder.

What a great way to spend a Wednesday evening, listening to the latest in feeding your skin from within and meet with The Skin Nerd®, Dave and Steve and community.

From the age of 13, Jennifer was fascinated by skin and knew she wanted to base her career around it. She is now a multi-award winning dermal facialist and skin tutor, and is also the bestselling author of The Skin Nerd: Your Straight-Talking Guide to Feeding, Protecting and Respecting Your Skin. She regularly appears on TV, on the radio and in the pages of national newspapers and magazines. She is Virgin Media Television Ireland AM’s resident beauty expert, Irish Country Magazine’s skin agony aunt and a columnist at the Irish Examiner.

Join The Happy Pear team as they speak with Jennifer about the secrets of healthy skin. The talk will be followed by Q&A session, and of course, plenty of Happy Pear nibbles! A goodie bag will be given to each audience member too.
