CBD has attracted a lot of attention in recent years, but one under-explored area of this subject is the unique synergy that can come about through the use of this product: how it interacts with other herbs, and amplifies their healing effects. In our Winter 2020/21 issue, we spoke to Cara Long of Alta CBD to find out more.

Buddha Bag Meeting: Tales of Plant Medicine and Ayahuasca with Mary Sky at The Hampton Hotel
Tales of Plant Medicine and Ayahuasca with Mary Sky
Thursday 13th March
Mary Sky works in holistic massage, energy healing and chakra clearing, along with running workshops and healing trips to Peru where you can delve deep into Inca culture and all it has to offer us. This thursday at Buddha Bag, Mary will introduce us to plant medicine and tell us more about the intriguing Ayahuasca plant.
“I began my explorations with the Amazonian plant medicines of Ayahausca and San Pedro about 6 years ago. Each year I return to the jungles and mountains of Peru to continue an exploration into mind, body and consciousness that began many years before that. The combination of Tibetan yogas, knowledge of the chakras and subtle body is for me an ongoing journey… to which the experiences with the plant medicines has been and continues to be, an incredible and magical accompaniment. Exploring, dissolving and awakening within my awareness knots of conditioned elements which have held me, and holds our western culture in bondage to a system that is no longer serving us”.
