The cover star of our Summer 2021 issue was the one and only Bruce Lipton! He spoke to us about how we can begin to perceive – and thereby create – heaven on earth, and why the current changes in society mirror a caterpillar’s process of transformation. The butterfly awaits.

Jerry’s journey began when he was involved in a major car collision in Romania: an incident which was shocking in many ways, but which also kick-started his extraordinary healing abilities. He says, ‘My family’s safety was all I was thinking about. The taxi was swaying backwards and forwards all over the road. It was crazy. It turned out we had hit two ladies crossing the road, and the first lady came through the windscreen, hit me in the head as I was asleep, got sucked back out of the car and landed in the road. I don’t know whether it was the bang in the head or me seeing her soul hovering over her body once I got out of the car that kick-started these abilities. Maybe it was both?’

Errol Campbell – a powerful healer from Bali – is visiting Ireland to deliver a stunning workshop in Belfast. We are thrilled to announce that he will also be appearing at Positive Nights on Tuesday June the 5th from 7.00 to 9.00 p.m. The venue is the stunning Bewley’s Café Theatre, Grafton Street, Dublin 2.
Errol works with a principle of Empowered Being: a core transformational state that empowers you to experience and embody positive change within yourself. He specialises in teaching tried and tested tools and techniques to enter your subconscious mind, locate the programmes holding you back, and rewire them to empower you to create your desired life, goals and dreams. We are pleased to be hosting Errol and hearing more from him about how we can quickly bring about a meaningful shift in the way we live our lives.
Join us on Tuesday June the 5th from 7.00 to 9.00 p.m. in the Bewley’s Café Theatre. The Eventbrite ticket link is here.

Innovation is a buzzword that is overused and increasingly misused. If we are to adapt to the challenges we face today we have to nurture a culture of innovation that is about more than developing a new app or just staying ahead of the competition. To have real impact in addressing the environmental, social or economic vulnerabilities confronting us, we need an approach to innovation that is collaborative, holistic, and has the potential for transformation.
Over the next thirty years, as we make a rapid transition to a low carbon society, we are likely to see more change and disturbance than at any other period in recorded human history. As the business educator Peter Drucker stressed, “the greatest danger in times of turbulence is not the turbulence – it is to act with yesterday’s logic.” In many ways it is our thinking and the way we learn as well as the environments, practices and processes that foster cooperation and creativity, that we have to innovate if we are to be resilient with the capacity to adapt to change.
System change and innovation at the scale required needs a mindset change. As George Bernard Shaw said, “progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.” Recently Pope Francis has called for a “global ecological conversion”, emphasising that it is not enough for us to go through the motions of change – we need a cultural overhaul and a spiritual revolution. Dr. Otto Scharmer, a senior lecturer at MIT, believes that we need a monumental shift of consciousness, a transition from an outdated “ego-system” way of thinking, focused on self interest, to an “eco-system” awareness that focuses on the wellbeing of the whole.
There is incredible untapped energy in our communities waiting to be harnessed. I live in Cloughjordan ecovillage, a sustainability project that is an emerging example of what Scharmer calls, “a living ecosystem of innovation”. With Cultivate I’m based in WeCreate, the ecovillage’s green enterprise centre, which is part of a growing movement of innovation ‘hubs’ that are emerging globally. These physical spaces nurture a culture of mutual support that enable collaboration among different change makers and initiatives. The creative space along with the processes utilised to facilitate collaboration, self-organising and adaptation is what makes these ‘hubs’ really powerful transformational environments.
This year our focus at Cultivate is to host events and offer courses that accelerate community-led innovation that will serve society and the planet. Some examples of this include community supported agriculture, community owned energy, car-sharing schemes, co-housing projects, and online platforms to enable peer-to-peer sharing. What is central to these initiatives is that they are citizen-led, and help us develop more resilient, social-ecological systems that allow us and our communities to flourish.
Davie Philip is a group facilitator and trainer who manages the Community Resilience programme at Cultivate. Davie is collecting stories of transformational community-led projects; if you are involved in something in your area send him an e-mail. davie@cultivate.ie
Take a Deep Breath
Open to intuition to embrace change.
By Kate Curtis
In numerous cultures, there have always been ways to access what are known as altered or enhanced states of consciousness and these methods are still practiced in many parts of the world. Different systems of breathing help to reach these states enabling us to access parts of our minds otherwise locked off.
Holotropic Breathwork is a system developed by Dr. Stanaslov Grof in the 60’s that helps facilitate this for deep transformational healing that anyone can incorporate into their lives. Dr. Gorf creates the method after he observed how the breath was used within many ancient civilisations. Deep healing and deep insights can occur when we open our hearts and this can help make that happen.
With the hectic, high energy of modern, Western culture, the closure of our hearts seems to have come about in order to survive a harsh, fast world. Our intuitive natures are not as honoured as they once were, by ourselves or by society. The beauty of nature and of Mother Earth is far removed and as such the ability to maintain this open heartedness can be challenging.
Never has there been such a need for groups and communities of people who are able to access these states of innate wisdom which will help to guide them. By holding this energy within ourselves, we can also help to keep ourselves and our loved ones well and strong during times of change, and transformation.

Play the Game of Transformation
It is easy to see our physical body transform. With fresh food and exercise, we look well. Overeating with no exercise, we gain kilos.
How about our emotional body or our mental body; is it as easy to transform them? Yes.
Self-Regulation or Lifestream is our life process. Too hot, we sweat. Too cold, we shiver. The body automatically maintains our optimum temperature. We come with a purpose and are diverted by traumas that are too painful for us to experience. This prevents us from being able to fully interact and grow.
Accepting personal responsibility for ourselves is the first step. Then, in a safe environment, we can learn to release the interference with our natural processes and allow the unexperienced traumas to resolve, enabling healing to take place.
The game of Transformation, developed in Findhorn, enables participants to gain deep insights into the Physical, Emotional, Mental and Spiritual aspects of their questions, revealing problems and offering solutions.
Players agree to be respectful, to confidentiality, and to stay for the agreed duration of the game. Questions from each player are discussed and refined. Once questions are agreed, they are written down, and an envelope (your unconscious) is filled with awareness, setbacks and angels.
You then incarnate into a physical body and begin your journey. The interaction between participants is an essential part of the game, and the insights of the others can be challenging. The more open and intuitive the players allow themselves to be, the greater the result.
Acceptance of your own insights by the others is a wonderful experience.
Once you are able to see and accept the problem, even those you have carried for lifetimes, it is possible to decide on a solution which can be instantaneous.
