After walking the Camino in 2010 and 2011, John and Maria Jesus are offering to take a group on the last part of this historical pilgrimage. Walking on pilgrimage is a great way to nourish the soul and bring healing and resolution to one’s inner nature.
Whether it’s for yourself or others, our prayers and intentions are processed and offered up on this walk in the way thousands of Peregrinos have been doing for centuries.
This is an ideal opportunity to come on a walking retreat with heart-minded travelers, and to have the walk supported by John and Maria Jesus.

The power of soothing sound
The door knocks and in comes a lady with a 3 year old child who seems angry. She explains to me that her child is aggressive and has bitten another child, and she feels desperate about this constant issue. Indeed, while she is explaining things, the child starts screaming and shouting in a violent way.
I gently lift him off the ground and lay him on my table. I choose a heart bowl to play – within seconds he calms down and within minutes he falls asleep. The mother is surprised, and the power of sound always amazes me.
Everyone knows that our body is made mostly of water, thus the vibration of sound travels to every part like a rippling wave, soothing the nervous system and making each cell vibrate to release any blockages and be energised. Welcome to Connecting Within!
We set up our Sound Healing Academy around 3 years ago after having worked with sound since the year 2000. And what a journey it has been.
We started working discretely on a 1-to-1 basis, growing steadily by word of mouth, but the growing demand meant sharing the knowledge and helping it to spread.
At our Sound Healing Academy, we combine our knowledge of Tibetan Singing Bowls with the practice of Advanced Emotional, Physical and Spiritual work. As such, our system is unique, and has been successful in helping many people facing a wide range of challenges from soul searching, to Depression, and other health issues such as Diabetes and Multiple Sclerosis amongst others.

Personal Responsibility By Dee Wallace – Get to Know Your Own God of Creation
I am excited. Yippee and woo-hoo! We are finally knowing what we know and knowing that we know; and when we know that, all answers are revealed. We are fine tuning the creation process and seeing where we have been missing the links, and where the focus has eluded us. We have all the answers, and now we are meeting the challenge of living the process. Yes, there is a learning curve. Yes, it can at times be a bit daunting and overwhelming; and we are doing it.
We are taking personal responsibility for the creation of Us!
We are also allowing ourselves to embrace the ease of it, now that we know we can do it, and have released the resistance to the creation process itself. We are realizing that the more we accept that we are it, and it is complete, the more we allow it to be the creation it is. So, I want to list the steps we know, so that there is a solid, black and white, written formula our brains can embrace for 2013.
STEP ONE: I must accept the responsibility that I create my own life.
STEP TWO: Part of that responsibility is knowing that I Am the God of Me that creates me and, therefore, my life. In other words, I have the free will to choose.
STEP THREE: I choose exactly what I want to create – the POSITIVE that I want to create.
STEP FOUR: I commit to the choice I choose. It is not an empty affirmation, a prayer that turns my responsibility over to another energy, or a hopeful wish that I might get what I want. It is a COMMITMENT to create it, by me, for me, in partnership with all energy.
STEP FIVE: When I commit, I then DIRECT my energy. I literally tell my energy what to do, what to create. It is a direction I consciously give myself, i.e. putting water in the freezer to make ice.
STEP SIX: I take action from the place of knowing IT HAS ALREADY BEEN CREATED IN THE SPIRITUAL/ENERGETIC REALMS. In other words, I have faith that I have ordered my meal, and the meal is delivered.
STEP SEVEN: I feeeeeeeeeeeeeel. I feel the joy and love of having this. Now I feeeeeeeeeel and experience my celebration at the creation that the God of Me has manifested. I feel love for myself as the creative entity and the majestic creator that I am. I choose to BE happiness and joy and love, because I know those are the emotional equivalents to creating. That is how creation happens: by feeling good. Feeling good makes us powerful. Loving ourselves divinely, which means unconditionally, is the beginning of conscious creation itself.
STEP EIGHT: I turn it over and allow all the energy of the world to deliver my creation in the most miraculous way possible. I ALLOW MYSELF TO RECEIVE, knowing that I am worthy and deserve all the blessings of my heart.
When we live each and every moment in these principles, and APPLY THEM, we live every moment as a conscious creator. We are freedom and joy and bliss and balance, because we know the God of Me is always creating the God of Me. And so it is.

You are immortal. Your body is not.
” Happy Mind + Healthy Body = Wonderful Life.”
When you were born, a new perspective was created. A part of our formless self (pure awareness) squeezed itself into a new form (your body) in order to have another unique experience of the infinite variations of physical existence. Seeing the world from your unique perspective, you became identified with your body and circumstances, and this became the basis of your character.
The mechanism of separation allows for the experience of relationship, one of the main purposes of life as more than one incarnation. The other main purpose is creation. You were created and you can create, and you can create things that can create other things themselves. So, the ultimate purpose of life is 3-fold: Experience, Relationship and Creation. You are succeeding in this in every single moment.
Your body will last a lifetime, and then it will die and rest in peace. Your consciousness will return from whence it came and you will once again be fully aware of the truth of who you are. In the meantime, while you are your physical incarnation, the most fulfilment you can have is to fully express your unique self. To that end, it is a good idea to do more of what you love to do and are naturally gifted at, and to take care of your body the way you would a pet.
Pets need the right food and clean drinking water, plenty of exercise and fresh air, an appropriately stimulating and clean habitat, and (depending on the pet) a certain amount of company and cuddles. Is your body getting its RDA of cuddles? Do you live in a home that nourishes your body, mind and soul? How often do you exercise and spend time in nature? Do you drink plenty of fresh, clean water every day?
The foods you eat affect not only your body but also your mind. Emotions are chemicals that are released by certain thoughts – such as stressful thoughts releasing adrenaline and noradrenaline into your body’s chemistry as part of the “fight or flight” response. In the same way, different foods will break down in your body and activate different chemical reactions. Some of these are beneficial to the body and mind, and some are not. The wrong foods can cloud the mind, attract stressful thoughts and activate negative emotions. The right foods for your particular body will promote positive feelings, peaceful thoughts and clarity of mind. This will, in turn, affect your physical health. (Read more about Positive Food here.)
Another way the body can affect the mind is through exercise. Exercising the body releases endorphins, which are feel good chemicals. The flip side of this relationship can be found in the use of visualisation as part of athletic training. Athletes who visualise themselves performing their chosen sport to the best of their body’s ability have been shown to significantly improve in their actual performance.
A similar principle is applied in Laughter Yoga, where the body and mind are fooled into releasing happy chemicals by the gesticulations of smiling and laughing. It seems the body doesn’t know the difference between a real and a fake laugh or smile. Speaking of which, I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase: “Laughter is the best medicine.” Well, I’d say Love is even better for the body and the mind. I recently read that cuddling relieves anxiety and depression, and strengthens the immune system; and I’d well believe it, especially knowing what I know about Oxytocin (the love hormone).
While the effect of your physical well-being on your mental health is strong, the effect of the mind on the body is even stronger. Physical health is a good foundation for a happy mind, but the cultivation of a clear mind can lead to the most amazing physical and transcendental experiences of life. Doing this, you can bring more of your god-self into your physical manifestation, and increase the beneficial effect you exert over the Law of Attraction.

Lessons we’re all dying to learn about life after death by Michael Newton
In her groundbreaking book, On Death and Dying, Dr Elisabeth Kubler-Ross introduced the concept of the Grief Cycle – a framework for observing and understanding the emotional stages of grieving. These stages are not set in stone in a particular order along a linear timeline, because the grieving experience is acutely individual; but recognising and allowing the cycle can assist a grieving person to identify and make sense of the complicated mass of emotions they are feeling.
Denial
This first stage of grieving helps us to survive the loss. Denial and shock help us to cope, and make survival possible. There is a grace in denial. It is nature’s way of letting in only as much as we can handle.
Anger
Anger is a necessary stage of the healing process. Anger is strength and it can be an anchor, giving temporary structure to the nothingness of loss. This anger is just another indication of the intensity of your love. Be willing to feel your anger, even though it may seem endless. The more you truly feel it, the more it will begin to dissipate and the more you will heal.
Bargaining
We want life returned to what it was; we want our loved one restored. The “if onlys” cause us to find fault in ourselves and what we “think” we could have done differently. We will do anything not to feel the pain of this loss.
Depression
After bargaining, our attention moves squarely into the present. Empty feelings present themselves, and grief enters our lives on a deeper level, deeper than we ever imagined. It’s important to understand that this depression is not a sign of mental illness. It is the appropriate response to a great loss.
Acceptance
Acceptance is often confused with the notion of being “all right” or “okay” with what has happened. This is not the case. Most people don’t ever feel okay or all right about the loss of a loved one.
This stage is about accepting the reality that our loved one is physically gone, and recognizing that this new reality is the permanent reality. It is the new norm with which we must learn to live.
We must learn to reorganise roles, and reassign them to others or take them on ourselves. Instead of denying our feelings, we listen to our needs; we move, we change, we grow, we evolve. We begin to live again, but we cannot do so until we have given grief its time.
People often think of the stages as lasting weeks or months. They forget that the stages are responses to feelings that can last for minutes or hours as we flip in and out of one and then another. We do not enter and leave each individual stage in a linear fashion. We may feel one, then another and back again to the first one. Just remember: your grief is as unique as you are.
Life Between Lives
A recent loss may be the catalyst that unearths a lifelong pattern of suppressed emotion arising from within a family culture; and during an experience such as Life Between Lives hypnotherapy, beautiful insights can occur as to why a loved one has left this life, perhaps planning their exit as an unexpected way to illuminate spiritual growth and deeper understanding. Life Between Lives work leaves no doubt in the minds of participants that we live many times; that part of us remains always in the spiritual realm and we return here to be with one another again and again.
Hypnotherapy
The eternal part of us, the core energy of who we are, is constantly developing and questing for perfection. Through hypnotherapy, we can access not only the past lives we have experienced in countless reincarnations; we can review the threads running through those lives, the lessons learned, and integrate their relevance with who we are today. We can meet our loved ones – those with whom we may have reincarnated many times to work with and assist each other as we learn mutually-agreed lessons.
Visions of Loved Ones
Our loved ones may take many forms, but in our current incarnation we can view and understand in terms of human understanding alone; the understandings we are ‘wired’ to be able to accept. The beings in the spiritual realm will appear in the most appropriate way for each individual concerned and can take on a variety of forms. They may take on their recognisable, beloved human body, usually rejuvenated and healed of suffering; they may appear as beings of light that transmit an instant ‘knowing’ of their identity. The experience is unique to each person.
Higher Self
Deep trance allows memories to be accessed not just from the unconscious mind but from the Higher Self; that super-consciousness in which resides all that we are and have been. We can encounter welcoming spirits, who come to greet us as we arrive home, to the inter-life. We can meet our guides and the beings who have been with us through countless incarnations, ever present and always supportive. We can go to places of rejuvenation to help heal our energies after challenging lives. To deepen our insight, we can visit the library in which our past lives are documented and recorded; we can meet with our soul group, explore the classes where we and certain of our fellow souls undertake specific learning projects. We can visit the place of body selection and learn why we have chosen to inhabit not only our current body but those from the past; and those we could have chosen. And we can meet with the wise group of elder beings who are our between-incarnations advisors, always there with wisdom, knowledge and understanding.
And this unveils a reassurance beyond compare; the knowledge that the spiritual realm – a realm of consistently loving harmony complete with a total absence of judgement that’s unimaginable to humankind – is our natural state of being.
Death’s Door
Death is merely the means to the next step; the next stage in our soul’s progress. When we are presented with an overview of our past lives, the bodies and geographic locations we have inhabited and the purpose of (and lessons resulting from) each experience we’ve had, a sense of profound understanding of the bigger picture – the greater pattern of living – emerges.
Perfect Harmony
In a recent Life Between Lives session, a participant asked if all the different earthly factions could ever come together in harmony. In reply, she was given an incredibly powerful, reassuring image of a wave, gently washing into a welcoming shore. The wave consisted of colours (some of which she had never seen before and found to be indescribable) that were all in complete contrast to each other but nevertheless blended perfectly and harmoniously as that wave moved in perfection towards, and arrived on, the shore. This image was given together with a deep knowing that all is as it is intended to be; humankind is melding together on its journey and will ultimately reach its intended, perfect destination.
