A Closer Look at Some of CNM’s Upcoming Events

by Admin

CNM (The College of Naturopathic Medicine) have long been valued contributors to our magazine, and we love their always-enlightening advice on health and wellbeing issues. They have a number of great events coming up, including an Online Open Day, a Womens’ Hormone Balance and Fertility evening, a Cooking for Brain Health workshop, and many more. Read on for the full scoop!

During this informative evening on hormone balance and fertility for women, Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist and Herbalist, Izzy Kirkby mANP, rGNC will discuss how to support fertility by addressing underlying hormonal imbalances. Izzy is a CNM graduate of Nutrition, Herbal Medicine and Naturopathy, who specialises in women’s health and hormones.

She found through her practice that many of her clients’ health issues were hormonal disruptions, as a result of a modern diet and stressful lifestyle. She uses natural medicine to not only relieve uncomfortable symptoms, but also help women reconnect with the innate wisdom of their bodies.

During this evening, you will learn:

• The role that hormonal imbalance plays in fertility

• The signs and symptoms of hormonal imbalances

• How to rebalance hormones including targeted protocols for common issues

You will come away with key strategies that you can use to promote fertility through your diet and lifestyle as well as supplements and herbs that promote overall well-being through hormonal balance. This event will take place on Wednesday March 24th, from 7 to 8.30 p.m. Book your place here.

CNM’s open evenings are always highly anticipated, as they give prospective students – or people who simply wish to learn more about supporting their health – a chance to understand CNM’s work on a deeper level. This Online Open Evening, set to take place on Thursday March 25th, from 7 to 8 p.m., covers CNM’s Nutrition, Herbal Medicine, Acupuncture and Homeopathy diplomas. Book your place here.

We absolutely love the sound of this online Natural Chef cooking workshop, which will be delivered by Natural Chef Course Director, chef and author Rachel De Thample. Rachel is passionate about teaching people which foods they need to improve their mood and focus.

The brain is one of the most important organs in the body, yet we rarely hear about diets that support good brain health. Adopting a diet that promotes optimum brain health can be essential in cognitive function and reducing your chances of brain-related diseases like Alzheimer’s.

This fantastic one-hour online workshop will guide you through the following and inspire you with a realm of delicious, easy recipes you can easily make at home to improve your mental health. It will take place on Tuesday April 13th, from 6 to 7 p.m. Book your place here.

If you are thinking of enrolling on one of CNM’s many short courses, then the Short Course Online Open Evening is a great fit for you. During this webinar, you will be given information on all of CNM’s short courses, including Nutrition, Herbal Medicine, Homeopathy, Bach Flowers, Tissue Salts, Skincare and more. A course consultant will be available throughout the webinar to answer any questions you may have. This webinar will take place on Thursday April 1st, from 7 to 8 p.m. Book your place here.
